The uhaul location I called and set up my reservation at was not the location they had my truck. I had to drive across town to get the truck.Austin S.

Originally I reserved a truck at Bossier City Self Storage, 1702 Benton Rd, Bossier City, LA for 9:00 AM pick up. The staff did not show up until 9:10 AM. They also did not have any trucks at this site. This is important to note because we reserved a 10' truck and they could have upgraded to a larger truck but have nothing on site. So they call around and find another truck at Barksdale Self storage a couple miles away and tell us we would be given a $50 credit towards our final bill. I just received the bill and there is no credit. U-Haul should not make reservations for vehicles that are supposed to turned in by a different customer the same hour or even within a couple of hours.Chris M.
My confirmation email said it would be ready for pick up at 7am -It was not . I was sent to FOUR different locations. I paid for a dolly and non was avaiable I was Told by Richard at the barksdale location that I would receive the fee back for the car tow -$79.00 I have not received it and I have left 6 messages for him and he never returns my call. I have been using Uhaul for 22 years AND THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVIC E.ALL FOUR LICATIONS WERE ABLE TO VERIFY I HAD A RESERVATION BUT the pick up location was invalid. I spent THREE HOURS AND 16 minutes trying to get my uhaul .I had people take off work to help me And totally inconvienced everyone Because I was stuck at Uhaul until 10:28am for a 7:00am pick up!I will not refer any one to this company or to that location.There was a Ms.Bounds at the 4th barksdale location that WAS GREAT!And Ms.Kimberly at the Alabama drop off that was Great.The trucks breaks are bad.I had to push it ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR and it still slid.My two children and I were caught in rain and it was scary and horrible simply horrible. Terrible. Not an adequate 24hr drop off location. They have no space to park larger trucks or trailers. Office smells terrible, and worker made it seem like it was my fault that there was no space to park. I had no choice but to park it off their property and call the U-Haul customer service line to let them know their truck,trailer, and auto transport were parked off the property of barksdale self storage. I didn't like the situation at all. I wish someone would call to discuss my lack of satisfaction. 702-280-2343, look forward to hearing from you all.Nick H.
