Christine SNo one was there so had to do the pick-up process over the phone. Then got charged for an after hours service fee despite bringing it back before the agreed time. When I asked about it, I was told the charge would be reversed and never was.

RICHARD GThis was not our chosen pick up place for our U-Haul truck. We went to the Locksley Rd which was our preferred pick up spot. They said they never even had our reservation, then he said another U-Haul took our order and we were at the wrong one. We were never notified about a new pick up spot for the vehicle and we weren’t from the area, it wasn’t very convenient for us to have to find the new U-Haul pick up place on Lincoln. It just seemed like the people did not really know what they were doing or were giving us the runaround.

James MExtremely poor service during pick up. We were scheduled to pick-up at 8:30. No one was around and we were to call a number but had to try and hold a conversation outside with freeway noise so loud we could not hear and answering the same questions repeatedly. Extremely poor experience!

Tony LI was led to believe that when the U-Haul business opened at 9:00 there would be someone there. My pick up was at 9:30. I arrived early to take care of any unfinished paper work. Only to find a sign saying if closed to call this number. Instead I went to check on another door I had seen 10 -15 ‘ away from it. It was opened and s gentlemen was sitting there. After a while a man came through another door and I found out I was at the wrong place. after looking around I went back to call the number left on U-Hauls door. It took me another 45 minutes to get the truck rented by talking and filling out the. Emails sent by a U-Haul Representative who said he could not be there something had come up he said he could be there in 20 min.. he gave me the option to wait for him or do it through the Email. . I opted to do email because I thought It would be faster. I then had 5 loaders and a driver waiting 45 min with me.. While I filled out the same info I had done a week before on line. With exception of drivers info. The whole idea was to beat the heat before it was to hot for us to load. We were having an unusual heat wave and at that time it was already 94 degrees. Is this the usual U-Haul policy?
Barbara AThe online checkout process was very difficult and the lock boxes are hard to use and are out in the hot sun. We had to use a rag to hold the padlock as it was too hot to touch and difficult yo open. No one was in the office to talk to and my call was returned about an hour later.
Sheri LI was fortunate to get a truck with less than 1,000 miles. The truck was extremely nice.
Gary NAlthough it was a rocky start with the vehicle I reserved not being available and had to go to another site to pick up a larger truck. It worked out in the end.
