U-Haul is a freaking joke! I reserved my rental on 8-25 for a 3 day rental starting on 8-28. Never got a reservation call even though I kept calling about it but to no avail. Finally, Wednesday morning right before we signed on our home I finally got scheduling to tell me where to pickup. Richland, which is very far from my move in Pelahatchie. Alright, maybe get the extra miles and that'll be ok right? Wrong, I get the email and message for the address and contact info on the location. Address doesn't take you there by the way. Oh, yeah phone number you ask? Disconnected! Well great, now what? Back on the phone with the 800 number. They get a field agent to give them a working number and I get connected. Find out where they are and get there. Poor girl was trying and did her best. It wasn't her fault. She was only told right before I got there that they had a pickup. Their first ever. 26' truck and an appliance dolly. No appliance dolly though. Great because it's just me and my tiny wife moving this entire house! Almost finished getting the thing ready to go and I it tried to make me deliver it back there. Why? She had to fight through that and start the entire process over so I could drop off somewhere closer. It's been an absolute joke dealing with U-Haul and I hope to never do it again. I'll leave my belonging behind before I ever rent from them again. Anything for my troubles...haha yeah right you know better. Now this isn't a shot at my pickup or drop off location, they did their best.Travis T.
It is ridiculous that I had to pay $90 for 3 days. I couldn't help the fact that the place wasn't ready for me to move into because it was the weekend. $30 a day is outrageous. I will not use U-Haul again.Albert M.
