Last month I returned it with the same amount of gas that I started with and they tried to charge me $85 to fill it up. Took weeks to get it corrected. Now i returned it with 1/4 tank more thn I started and got NO gas credit that I always got at other locations. This location is not recommendedDOMINICK G.

The site was excellent. Unfortunately the U-Haul app needs a lot of work. Twice I have had tried to turn a truck in using the app only to it get stuck on the odometer picture. No matter what I did I could not get it to upload the picture I took. Had to have the site check it in for me. Otherwise i had a good experienceBenjamin S.

The trailer had a balding tire that was identified by the employee but they still gave me that trailer. I had to call roadside 2 hrs into my trip because the metal banding was showing on the tire. Roadside was great and actually determined the trailer breaks were set incorrectly and stuck partially on.STEVEN P.

Everything was perfect except the guy in Wisconsin said pushing my emergency light button would ensure all the lights would work. This was his check. When I arrived at Butte, I noticed one running light was hanging slightly secondary to small bolts breaking, and the receiving agent in Butte noticed that the running lights weren't workingKATHLEEN G.

Pulled in Told to back up and unload the uhaul. Then the guy disappeared for over 15 minutes, when he came back. Said your good we sent you an email receipt. What a dick head. There was a drop point 2 blocks from my location buds market, but but uhaul stated they did not recognize that location. Uhaul get your act together. Very disappointed!Bruce U.

Rep gave me a non-functional appliance dolly. When I returned, he blamed it on corporate. Rep also told me to go hook up trailer myself and did not check hitch or lights. Contract was not readable, because their printer was out of ink. Will never go back, especially since there is another larger U-Haul dealer on the same street.Kevin H.

We wouldn't have been able to pick up the Uhaul truck if the guy hadn't shown up. The process did not work as it was indicated, and it was a fluke that he showed up as we were sitting there for 10 minutes on hold with customer service. We would have had a moving crew and no truck. Not sure where the disconnect was, as I double checked the previous week to ensure everything was set.Matt K.

What can UHaul do to improve for the next customer? Get out your reading glasses; it's a long list: 1) Warn customers who are picking up equipment using the self-serve app that we'll need to provide the names and contact information of not one, but two, references who will answer a call from an unknown caller at 8:00 on a Sunday morning. 2) Offer some sort of alternate option for customers who are unable to provide two references (international students come to mind) or whose references (like mine) won't answer the phone when they don't recognize the number or whose references simply aren't home when they need to be home to answer a phone call from UHaul. 3) Verify references several days in advance, not when the customer is trying to pick up the truck and get started with the moving process. 4) Explain why, exactly, customers need to provide references to pick up a UHaul truck? I guess you're looking for people to harass if we run off with the UHaul? Or are you intentionally discriminating against people who can't provide two references, people whose references aren't home, or people whose references don't answer phone calls from unknown numbers? 5) Fix your app, so that required photos upload properly. 6) Re-engineer your app, so that returns can be done off-site. Who on earth wants to stand around in a parking lot in the hot sun after a full day of moving to jump through the necessary hoops of returning the truck? It would work just as well to request that customers upload odometer and fuel tank readings from some location other than the middle of a parking lot. Unfortunately, your app will not allow customers to do this, as it essentially shuts down the minute it senses that the customer is not in the "correct" location. UHaul's self-serve app is a disaster. 7) Tell your customer service chat reps not to end a chat without warning when customers ask to speak to a supervisor. UHaul's customer service is an even bigger disaster than UHaul's self-serve app.Lori R.

This was my 4th U Haul trailer rental in the past 3 months, all from different locations. I have never been asked to attach the trailer myself or remove it, until now. After I finished the usual paperwork, I was told the numbers to look for on the trailer out in the lot. The trailer was stored on a grassy hill, nose down in front of a muddy puddle. I backed my truck up in front of the mud and then had to remove a cinder block in front of one of the trailer tires which was holding it from rolling forward down the hill. Luckily, I had another person there to hold the trailer back while lifting the arm to place it on the hitch. We attached the trailer as best we could, with no supervision, instruction or assistance and thought we had it on correctly. I stayed outside the car and asked my friend to drive it back to the shop so the guy could check the attachment. The minute my truck hit level ground I noticed the trailer jump on the ball hitch. We stopped and checked it again, but now we could tighten down the hitch as needed. I'm guessing it was because I had to attach the trailer while it was on an incline? I wouldn't have known if I didn't watch him drive the first few yards. When I asked the gentleman at the store to check it and make sure I had it correct, I mentioned politely that this was my fourth rental this summer and the first time I was asked to do it myself. He responded sarcastically, "That's why they call it 'you haul'". Then he said U Haul wanted to charge a $25 additional fee to have them attach it (which he never offered and I have never heard in all my previous rentals). He did not even touch the trailer to check it, just looked at it and took a picture, as if to protect himself. I found the entire exchange with this location to be unprofessional. Originally went to Bud's corner Mart because it is closer to my home to rent the same size truck, I suggest that somebody train them over there because they did not have a clue on how to rent out their U-Hauls, wasted almost 1 hour there before I got fed up and left, Barrett's had me out of there in 5 minutes very professional Barrett's gets five stars Buds corner Mart gets zeroRANDY K.

The mileage I was charged for was not correct. I complained to the place I rented it from, they were off by 35 miles. Also the license plate on the contract and the license plate on the truck were different states. The provider said they were going to check into it.Bruce L.
