The location is a bit unmarked and difficult to find from the street. I only knew of this place as I am familiar with this area. The rental instructions were easy, the person manning the location "Aaron", is very professional and gave me perfect instructions. The backyard area where the trucks are stored is a bit tight, but still manageable. The truck was a bit dirty inside, but nothing to be bothered about. I had a good rental. (Only issue I have with the UHual, was that I thought that the full rental included upto 300 miles, but later I realized that it was limited to 200 miles and then a per mile charge was added). Thanks
Deepak DA bit hard to locate. No Uhaul signage on the street
John HPerfect! Thank you
James KAaron was great! Thanks so much
Shagniqua JGreat experience, Aaron was awesome.
Roger NTight driveway, difficult to find at night. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy.
Simon FTruck was dirty in cabin. I reserved furniture pads. They were not in the truck.
Franz HThis was an absolutely awful experience. There was no office, just a lot. Nobody was there when I arrived. I got the truck 45 minutes later than scheduled. No body explained the fuel policy so I was charged an additional $60. Just a ripoff. I'm never using UHaul again.
Peter HPaid for dolly but didn’t get it.
Ryan DTruck was dirty and hard to return due to lack of space
Yisroel ESkinny driveway to access in a city environment , very little parking , staff not very helpful
Karen MThe moving pads and hand truck were not inside of the UHaul and when I went to dispute the app had a stuck loading screen, 4 times, in areas that had great service! Please contact me for a refund.
Ryan SAaron at BRT Towing was great. He helped me through the disappointing situation U-Haul put me in and referred me to the Madison NJ location.
EAN NIt is better to deal with the location people, than the UHaul reps! Jerry at BST made the process of picking up the truck hassle free!
Patrick Du-haul verification process was horrible but equipment and location were fine
PATRICK KOutstanding experience - quick check in - great truck and easy drop off. Thanks for the help!
Paul SThe reservation was for 1:45 PM pick up but the placed was closed due to the 4th of July weekend. I had to call 1-800 support several times until one of the reps transferred me to a supervisor. It seems like the reservation was not correctly set up and the supervisor assisted me to set it up and to get a code for the key box. I finally got the keys out of the box at 8:45 PM. On the return day I called the location, identified myself and my company name but the female hung up the phone. I drove the vehicle myself to the location and turned in.
ERNESTO PFacility had no Uhaul sign and no representative assisting customers. When I called UHaul with questions the phone rep said there should be someone at the location but there was not. There was no parking at the facility. There were 2 Uhaul vehicle spots and the rest were spots designated for the tenants of the building. I tried to return the vehicle early but there were cars in all spots so I had to come back later. The vehicle was basically clean but was dusty and unpleasant.
Brian KNo personnel at the drop off location. Drop off location is an unstaffed key drop. I even called ahead of time to tell them my dropoff time. Person on the other end seemed totally disinterested. Driveway to drop off point precariously narrow. Drop off location precariously tight. No indication from street that this a U-Haul particiating facility Though I may use U-Haul again. Never again to this drop off location. I'd rather travel 10 miles of of town to a safer, more fhospitable location. Please remove B.R.T. from your P.U. and Drop Off location lisst.
CRAIG BThe app was really bad yesterday. It crashed every time I tried to use it …making my check in and check out very difficult. I was not able to submit my pre and post pictures or log the mileage before. The app was really a huge issue
THOMAS SThe person at the location was late in arriving there. The final bill was not correct. Someone signed my name on the exit form. Very unprofessional t
howard mVehicle smelled when I picked it up. I drove it for 6 miles locally and was charged $21 for gas I did not use. I can understand if I was charged for 1 gallon given the distance I drove, but this was over the top. I only moved a small light weight couch.
TAREK AVery awkward experience. The lock box had the wrong key. Without someone coming to open the drop-off box, which is where the right key was, I would not have been able to get the van. Will not use this service again!
Zung NThe pick up spot has no office; the truck was just parked in a tiny lot behind a small apartment building. Staff only reachable by phone. Someone from the towing company on that site had to find the key for the truck. Nothing was explained at pick up, just here's the key, bye. Also, we had reserved 12 blankets but were told they now had none. Additional fees not explained.
Daniel LThe dolly that I was charged for was not available, and because this was self-service, I was unable to raise the issue.
ROYCE OPlace was unmarked. It was unattended. I had to call for someone to help me and got no answer. Finally a rude man called me back literally yelling over the phone as to where I should drop the truck. I had to enter a narrow passage way double park the truck as no spaces were available and leave the key in a drop box. A frustrating experience
Philippe ALocation is not staffed. There is a sign with the address of an office down the street so we drove there, only to find that was closed and not staffed either. Called UHaul for help, got a phone number. The office said "the guy is there" which clearly he was not. Called the number again, and had to wait for someone to walk from another building to give me the keys to the truck. This was not a smooth pickup experience.
James LThe check in process was a hassle with no one on site. They didn't seem very experienced with the online check in and the app was glitchy. After an hour on the line with the location and separately of customer service we finally got into the vehicle. Additionally, I had requested to reserve my truck in Bayonne and Corporate switched me to Morristown which added 1.5 hours round trip from where we were located in jersey city. Wasn't planning on that the day before our big move and we lost more considerable time in the process. This is not the locations fault but and issue with predicting accurate inventory via corporate which feels basic.
Logan JThis was as usual a completely miserable experience The real question is… why do I repeatedly rent from you??? Your pick experience is awful. What’s the point in my telling you the problems. You employ sun zero people that are pathetic! Why bother.
Nicholas KThe pick up experience was frustrating. The truck was behind a gated lot and once it was retrieved and I was fully checked in an employee would not let me leave. They took photos of my ID to send to their boss even though it was in the app. I am incredibly uncomfortable that my license is on a random employees phone. When I was finally able to leave the truck seat did not move forward so it was very challenging to drive the truck safely considering I am only 5'2" tall. And finally the truck I picked up had an empty gas tank. After immediately being stalled by the employee for no reason I had to then waste time by going to a gas station before even starting my move. I filled the tank, but only ended up using about a quarter of a tank of a tank. Ultimately I ended up giving uhual 35 dollars worth of gas and I would like compensation for that. I have receipts and photos as proof.
Julianna RTo pick up, had to wait for 20 minutes outside until somebody showed up for the key. NOTE!! THERE IS NO PARKING LOT FOR YOUR CAR!!
Kyungwook HThe key was not accessible on site. I waited 45 mins for someone to come out to get the key out of the drop off box
Richard HIt was a difficult to find location with nobody available on site.
Josh EThe vans are great- super clean and seem new. The pick up and drop off was a little different than expected but the staff were easy to get in touch with and super helpful. It’s great to have a Morristown in town rental.
Patricia OThey reported wrong gas gauge reading to try to overcharge the fuel. I already summit all the evidence and no response yet. You need to correct this issue now before I dispute all the charges.
David OHave a sign on the front of the building indicating where the U-Haul is located because I got lost trying to find it.
Fanny VAll good Excellent
SABIR KI could not find the owner to bring me the keys, and when I called the business number he did not answer. He sent an employee to help but the employee didn’t know what to do and gave me the key to the wrong vehicle. Place was difficult to find due to lack of clear signage and there was no parking for my car, and the employee did not know where to tell me to park (only where not to park). When I finally did meet the owner he was not apologetic or helpful in any way.
Christine SHello, Hope well. Again this review is not a reflection of the location but more about the service. The morristown location is a bit hard to find but the personnel that helped us was nice. This is the first time that I had a less than favorable experience with Uhaul...This is in regards to contract 19868997 - October 31- I booked the truck for $145 (without tax) online. When I went to pick up the truck at your Clementon location, I was told that the price had changed to roughly $200 for the same reservation (same pick up, same drop off and same truck size). Luckily the rep that I spoke to on the phone saw the discrepancy on her end and resolved the pricing issue. I’m grateful that she was honest and took the time to hear me out. - November 1st - I was called by Uhaul concerning the change of my drop off location. I didn’t consent to this because that was not the agreed location on the contract. The new drop off location was now in Morristown… over 20 miles away and almost an hour round trip for my husband and I. I felt that I was doing Uhaul a favor dropping it off at Morristown vs Flanders. I asked if I would be compensated for the added time and gas and I was told that the compensation that I would get is an additional mileage allowance. I spoke to the rep about this and her tone lacked empathy. Her customer service skills were unsatisfactory. She told me that if I dropped off the truck at my originally contracted location, I would get an additional charge. I tried to convey to her that the added inconvenience merited more than mileage compensation but there was no care. - November 2nd - We dropped off the truck at Morristown before 9:30 am. It was difficult to find the drop off location, no one answered the business phone associated with the drop off location. I had to call uhaul again for assistance and luckily we were able to find the drop off location. Aaron, the attendant at the location , helped us but even he was baffled at how the location was switched on us. I used the self check out and Aaron did the rest. As someone that had used uhaul over the years , and just in the last year I’ve spent well over $2400, I could have been handled better. This experience would definitely inform my decisions to do business with you in the future. Eme
