Customer service at this location was excellent, but the truck I received (DC 5050 W) was a piece of garbage. The transmission was difficult to put in gear. The engine screamed when starting and driving. It pulled to the right hard. Dropped off early but after hours at 4:45pm and turning online was not possible due to website failure. I called the 800 number, was on hold for over 30 minutes and they acknowledged system issues. I was put on a call back list and I noticed this morning they tried calling me at 10:24 pm. Were they calling from the Philippines? Normal people are asleep at that hour.
JEFFREY LTheir was a $50 dollar damage charge on my bill that was unnecessary. That truck was brand new with less then 700 miles on it. I did not damage to that truck. I would appreciate a $50 dollar refund please.

ANNETTE JWe ordered and aid for an appliance dolly which was not in truck. I both took a picture and called to report. This messed up our entire plan for the day as we were unable to complete our move. I was still charged and not refunded as of yet

RUBEN MI would like to comment on the cost of this rental. A rental from the Urbandale location from 2 weeks before this one, for approximately the same amount of days and mileage was significantly less expensive. This rental was sort of an urgent matter, so we didn't have time to review the amount until later. I would like an explanation.
NANCY MBattle Creek Rental, specifically Phil, could not have been better. Phil embodies the concept of providing service to his customers. After having a less than satisfactory experience with another Uhaul location, Phil bailed me out securing a truck that exceeded my needs for the same price as the other location. He did all this in less than a week. I can't thank him enough for how he handled my situation. BCRental, and Phil will be my go to location for Uhaul and any other rentals in my future. If you want excellent service, choose Battle Creek Rental. I highly recommend them. Again, thanks Phil.

Our pickup location was changed from a primarily U-Haul site to a site where U-Haul was an ancillary service - not the primary purpose of the establishment. People were friendly and helpful. I don't think there is much that would make sense to change given the makeup of the business.

DAVID GMy issue is with actual u-haul not the location… the cost is ridiculous. And on top of that yall only give some location as drop offs so you forced me to drive out of my way to drop it off and charged me more when there was a location near by. You should value both your customers and the companies working with you. You make the experience hard for both parties
WALLACE ACertain damages i saw stated "you damage, you pay" if said damages are paid for, why isn't the equipment restored to the next patron? When sub-letting anything, there needs to be a though walk though, elsewhere the process is null. How is any one person held accountable if the said consumable is already damaged? Something to ponder...

BETHANIE COverall cleanliness of the rental unit was a bit below what I would expect. The back had some small pieces of cardboard and styrofoam in it. The counter person was very pleasant and courteous to work with.
Bryan TI can’t believe you charged over $100 for me to use a truck for less than 3 hours!!! Your mileage charge is ridiculous! I used to rent U-Haul for all my rental needs (and there have been many, just look up my phone number and you’ll see how many times I’ve used U-Haul), but never again!

matthew nBattle Creek Rental Equipment is an outstanding facility to rent Uhauls from. I have rented both trucks and trailers over the past few years and have never had any issues with either of their professionalism and courtesy. There is plenty of space to safely move/return the equipment and the staff is very knowledgeable. I will continue to use this location for my uhaul needs and would highly reccomend them for anyone!
Sheyney BInspecting the trucks closer. While driving it the truck kept drifting to the right so I had to my whole drive I had to hold the steering wheel to the left. Also the truck was missing the gas cap.
