No point in booking online, as they do it all over again when you arrive. You can even do self check-in, same thing, they ask all the same questions that online asks. For example do you want insurance, etc. Takes awhile, especially if the gas bar/store is busy with other clients. Very convenient though.
Scott DYou could have Auto transport trailers available at more locations. Had to travel 50 minutes one way out of our way to pickup the trailer when there is a location less then 10 minutes away for us. Other then that, very happy with the process, people, and equipment.

Amanda VBooked this in advance on line! When I got there for the trailer, there was no one there to deal with me, they had to call someone in. The trailer I ordered was buried in snow ❄️ and frozen to the ground and couldn't get it out. They ended up giving me a bigger trailer that I didn't need and cost me a lot more for gas to tow it. There was also another customer there that had to dig the trailer he rented out because of the type of trailer he needed. Because of this we were both delayed about an hour 🙄 Would not recommend this place to anyone 😒

KENNETH DNot only did the location no verify the item was there. But, we got bounced around to three location before we finally got a dolly and it wasn't the style we ordered. We wasted gas, wear and tear on our truck. A case file was opened be no feed back. Credits were promised and I haven't seen them yet. If I could give no stars I would.

Scott DU-Haul issue- my reservation moved to this location caused: change in quote requiring 1 hour 15 min pickup. Baysville could not resolve quote issue with their Customer Service. Required me calling Customer Service and speaking to 2 different people to resolve. Call had to be taken out in rain as cell service is difficult on properly. Someone at U-Haul when they altered my pickup also changed my drop off location electronically resulting in a difficult long return when I had to adjust it in the app while trying to do an after hours drop off. The fuel rate was recorded wrong on contract and Baysville location for pickup was unable to assist with this, told me it would “be ok” at drop off. Baysville issue - cell service lacking making it difficult to call U-Haul customer service and using the app to record difference in fuel level vs contract. Location did not have the quantity of blankets I requested (1 dozen) only 6 available. Much better than my Bracebridge rental 1 month ago when 0 out of 2 dozen ordered blankets available.

Scott DEveryone made the best effort however, I experienced some difficulty with communication and missed a reference, if one was offered, to an online check-in before we left the lot. However, down the road when I received the text message I called the help line and assistance was provided, thank you Tanya.
Lisa Phooked up the trailer myself. I was over charged. I had to wait 10 minutes for the attendant to arrive. I will not use this location again.
Peggy Omost times another person has to be called to take care of the rental. having it close by is great and they usually have a trailer in stock to rent. would be great if app worked better to speed up process. mine would not take my birth year and reverted back to 2024 and kept telling that i was not old enough to rent.
Brian WI found it difficult to use your app to reserve the vehicle. The gentleman at the pick up location assisted me. I really appreciated his assistance.

Tracey LI booked the trailer and I was charged $181.93. When I went to attach the trailer's electrical plug was lying in a muddy puddle. The electrical didn't work. I went to get a refund as I could not take the trailer. I only got a partial refund of $139.05. I was charged $40 for a trailer I never took and didn't work. The next day I booked another trailer at the Skyway motel. It was not sitting in a muddy puddle. The trailer's electricity worked.
Benjamin EHave vehicle maintained better, drivers wipers blade was broken, steering wheel squeaked when you turned a corner, truck was dirty inside and out.
Ted GWhen we booked the trailer in parry sound, the day we went to pick it up the trailer wasn't available. We had to drive over 2 5 hrs to Bellville then and 2.5 hrs back. We wasted 1/2 tank of gas to get the trailer, and throw us back 5 hrs on moving. Made it a very long day. Plus having to drive 6 hrs to windsor. Needless to say it costed us more money for this move, we will never rent from here again. The total expenses was over 250.00
Lorrie Brented the dual wheel 6x10 trailer. Tongue was on the ground when I picked up, no one to help lift and it's a heavy trailer. had to look around to find blocking so I could get it on to my truck. Drop off was like was an inconvenience to the store owner. I brought it back a day early and wasn't told if there would be a credit or the deal was the deal. I'm fine either way but communication SUCKED.

David FPicking up trailer was delayed by almost and hour. U-haul agent was not present at location and everything had to be done over the phone with the help of a store clerk that had nothing to do with the U-haul rentals. The lost time resulted in a cascading effect of delays leading to even more delays. If a pick up is scheduled, someone should be present to deal with the customer picking up. Dropping off at same location worked well...the agent was present and so the process was very fast. Trailer fenders were both dented (one quite seriously).

Fred LThe process of checking out, and checking back in was painful. It was disorganized and lengthy. Since this is a busy Gas/Grocery store it was quite uncomfortable. Also - Even though I had put fuel in the truck, I was randomly charged both a refueling fee and twice as much fuel as the truck needed. This was one of 2 cube trucks that was rented from different local dealers, during the same period, for the same general route. The experience was night and day.

John RAt Baysville, there was some confusion on the number of miles and gasoline left in the tank. I was was told my mileage usage was at 400 but this was incorrect. I am not sure if this was a mix up between kilometers and miles of if was an attempted cash grab on their part. I was also told the tank was only a quarter full when it was really 3/8ths of a tanks; the same level as when I picked up the truck. My total was accepted as being correct when I didn't agree with their number. (I suppose this could be a case of them rounding down.) In the end, everything was completed with the totals as I knew them so I presume the final credit card charge will be accurate.

Michael GThe trailer was stuck in snow and ice on a parking lot covered in ice....getting close to the trailer was difficult and having to break ice to free the lift mechanism was laborious.
William DTrailer was burried in the snow.. had to use my own truck to pull it out of the snowbank, I then had to shovel all the snow off the car transporter myself. Ratchets didn’t work and Ramps where rusted stuck, had to spend the evening using WD-40 on everything and getting everything unstuck and doing all the tire pressures my self as they where not done, The u haul location had all day to take care of the trailer before I came from when I reserved the trailer but did absolutely nothing. Would not recommend this I haul again and might not even recommend u haul to anyone after this terrible experience
