This was where the van was available, so that’s really what I needed and it was a same day rental, so that is what mattered. The return was easy in terms of the key drop, but the app didn’t work for the return. It kept freezing. I called U-Haul and they had me use the website, which did work, but it wasn’t a fast process. I spent more than 20 minutes trying to drop off the van. First with the app failing and then the odometer showed 3,xxx miles which was less than pickup mileage and eventually when I turned the motor off, it showed 9,xxx miles which was right and worked. 3,xxx didn’t seem to be the trip mileage, but maybe it was something like that. Just a frustrating return because I was in a hurry and thought it’d be a quick process. In taking the vehicle, the customer should told to look for notifications to take pics of the damage, etc. That message is easily missed when it arrives between the time you rent the vehicle and get in and drive it out. I was in a hurry yesterday and forgot to do that!

The uhaul truck reeked of cigarette smoke and the turn signals/hazard lights were so dim they might as well have not worked. The driver side door handle also barely worked. This truck NEEDS to be fixed and cleaned before being available.

Trina AI called to let the location know that I was running late due to flight delays but that I would be there before they closed. They assured me that would be no problem. However, when I arrived - 30 min before closing - they had already left. The online check in was a disaster and finding a human to talk to was very difficult. Since it was an out of state ID they needed to call a reference so I had to scramble to find someone available. Once I finally got the key, it was well over two hours after arriving at the location. As a single woman, alone in a strange location, this was very unnerving. I will not be renting from this location again

No instructions to follow came up. After 25 frustrating minutes standing in the heat, I finally called UHaul and concluded the returning process on the phone.

GRACE JI had completed all steps for express checkout online, but the process still took 20 minutes. Also, the address of the establishment was confusing. It has a Milpas street address, but it’s actually on a side street. I tried to call several times to clarify the location, but no one answered the calls.

roland rNo blankets to rent. The addres is 732 N. Milpas St. That is the address of a restauraunt. After driving up and down the street for a time we called U-Haul. They then prompted us to drive down De La Guerra St. The mecanic business also has two trucks. At minimum, we should have been told it was not viewable from Milpas Street. Correct information would have been helpful.

thurston cWhen picking up the truck, it was very difficult to get the information through a web browser. Had to be instructed from a customer representative to download the app and then it worked better. The two furniture dollies that I ordered were not in the truck and I was not told that they were out. When going to a local U-Haul store to hopefully get two furniture dollies for the trip, they were also out and could not locate a nearby U-Haul that had them in stock. Had to purchase them for the trip. Even though the truck had air-conditioning, it did not work the whole six hour trip. It was 105° out and it was a very warm day to travel with no air-conditioning. Not a great experience overall.

Melissa AChecked in and wanted a dolly and regular hand truck but they didn't have any. We checked in ahead of time so we had an easy check in and an easy drop off. Hard to find location since it was on an alleyway coming off of Milpas Street. Hard to park on Monday mornings since they had street sweeping in the surrounding neighborhood. Tank half full so we added about 2 gallons of gas for doing less than 10 miles driving.
Raymond OIf a person reserves truck and adds floor dollys, hand trucks, furniture pads, etc. there should be some kind of correspondence that the equipment isn’t available before arriving at the location .

RYAN MI only put 8 miles on the truck. When I picked the truck up the fuel gauge red just under half a tank. When I returned the truck it was just under half a tank. I only put 8 miles on the truck and the station charged me 18 dollars for three gallons of gas. The station never even put gas in the truck. The station charged me for the three gallons less than two min from me returning the truck. If the truck used three gallons of fuel in 8 miles there is something wrong with the truck.

STEVEN LNothing was out of the ordinary, I was a few minutes late and there was no issue when it came to pick up the rental. Quick, affordable and reliable. Would definitely use again. Cargo van had a nice back up camera and was a smooth drive. Had a little trouble finding the gas compartment when it was time to fill up, but I found it right in the drivers side with the door open. That was my only problem! Other than that though, 10/10
FARRAH GWe had an appointment to pick up our rental at 8am. My employee showed up to just wait for someone to open the business. The employee showed up almost 30 minutes late.
JOSEPH Mtoday I get an email with an extra charge of $20 for after hrs, we returned the truck earlier at 4:00 pm. Pick up time was at 10 am. 6 hours only. Its NOT a reason to charge $20 extra Also $5 for a sale. We did NOT purchase nothing. To Bad! I sent an email questioning and not answer.
FERNANDO DThis isn't my first experience with unethical billing and suspicious fees from the rogue's gallery of Uhaiul. The mechanic/Uhaul representative call me later that evening after my move and said, "You left the van dirty. There's a $25 cleaning fee if you don't come back and clean it yourself." I came back...but when the Uhaul monopoly is broken, I'm going to be the first to fly the coop. I have no good-faith with this business.

Only indication of the Uhaul location is a drop box located behind a corner. pulled over on the street hopped out the car to ask the mechanics if this was the correct place. They stated they could not help and were closing. Directed me where to park. I had to do the return on the phone, it was not clear or easy to return the truck on the phone. Would not recommend for a drop off location, not easy, clear or accessible.
