Love the location, but the truck was muddy
Sami ZMy only comment is that the gas tank was only a quarter full. Had it been completely full or even three quarters I would have only needed to make one trip to the gas station. My delivery route was delayed because of this. The people that run this location are incredibly helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back.
Donna BThe sign in process electronically is tedious, cumbersome and slow. The app didn't work and the web based browser was subject to lag. Increase your bandwidth or don't offer this service. I won't be using it again.
DANIEL LThis was my first U-Haul driving experience. The owner was very friendly and made it a clear, smooth process. I was unsure of how to release the parking brake, and the owner came out and released it himself, so feel free to ask any questions as they were very attentive. Overall great first experience, and If I ever need another 15” truck from this destination, I would gladly rent again.
Carlos CThere was only one worker at the Uhaul location located in Beckers. I believe there should be at least two workers to assist with the needs of the business. The worker had received a phone call on her personal phone, which distracted her from her job and left me waiting. I understood the situation as it was a family emergency, but nevertheless, I was left to wait as there was no other worker to assist. When I realized I could not bring the van back in time, I called to let them know as I was busy all morning and had no other opportunity than 5 minutes before 2:00 pm. I spoke with the owner of the becker's location and was told that I was affecting a future reservation at 4:00 pm and to bring the van back immediately. However, the point of calling was to tell them about the extreme delay in the day. I would not have been accepting future reservations when the vehicles were not back in their possession. Additionally, the worker on the day of the reservation did not provide all the information required for me to make an informed decision. I believe it was due to the distraction, which is why I emphasize having two workers, especially on a weekend shift. When I asked regarding the additional charges should one use the equipment for more than the allotted 24 hours, I was told that I would only be charged for the number of days of use at the van's rental rate ($19.95x2 days = $38.90). I was not told that insurance coverage would be charged daily as well. Thus, I accrued an additional $19.41 that I was not expecting to receive. A one-time insurance charge should surely be able to cover the time the van is used. Charging almost $40 for two days is shady behaviour. Lastly, the van appeared clean when I got in it; however, there was garbage under the seats of the driver and passenger. I started to clean some of the garbage to avoid being charged cleaning fees for someone else's mess but then stopped because I had footage to show that the mess was in the van when I first got in. New drivers should not be responsible for previous driver's messes. The workers at the location should be doing thorough inspections not just on the car's body for damages but also on the interior for cleanliness.
OLUWADAMILOLA OHad a schedule to pickup truck at 9:30 and store closed and no one was present in the store until 9:53am Gentlemen tried to rip me off on gas and thank god I took a picture with KM and where the gas needle was at the time of pickup and the time of dropped off took a picture of the gas needle and mileage which was the same exact spot. Filled the gas 5 min before drop off if I knew it was a Beckers convenient store. I was picking it up. I wouldn’t of made reservations for that location. I went back to complaint about the mileage and gas. They said I didn’t fill up show them pictures and they said they couldn’t help me. I need to phone the one 800 number to get that resolved even though I showed her the pictures and they agreed that they were wrong, would not ratify the problem there. Very disappointing experience I left a bad taste in my mouth about U-Haul
PAOLINO SLocation did not open on time, had to wait 10 minutes for them to show up. Vehicle had no windshield washer fluid and I had to purchase a bottle and fill up the vehicle myself.
