The owner of Bells was a life saver! I had requested a 15 foot truck with 12 protection pads and car trailer to hitch my car for the move to another state! I got confirmation that I was to use sandwich heads and pick up at 9:00am... The day I was to pick up the truck, the confirmation stated I pick up truck from Smokey store and truck now 20feet, no additional charge....I called U-Haul, spoke with Trish,she stated Smokey store truck in SC didn't go outside the state and had to be returned the same day!!!!!!! I asked why I wasn't giving this information earlier, it was AFFECTING my time to PACK UP, MOVE AND RETURN TRUCK IN NC!!! I DINT GO TO SANDWICH HEADS IN SC...I go to Smokey store and the owner stated the truck was filthy and needed to be washed...I asked had he got started on getting it cleaned!!!...he didn't have the hitch NOR 12 packing pads...the owner suggested Bells...I go to Bells and the owner had a 20 foot truck, NO HITCH, BUT IT COULD TRAVEL OUT OF STATE.... MEANWHILE, I'M 2 1/2 HOURS LATE PACKING FRIENDS WERE HELPING TO PACK, SOME COULDN'T HELP DUE ALL THE ERRORS OF UHAUL!!!!!... 1:PM, I HAD ARRANGED FOR LEASING MANAGER TO DO A WALK THROUGH *DUE* TO THE ERRORS AND TIME, I HAD TO CALL THE LEASING MANAGER AND ARRANGE FOR THE WALK THROUGH AT 4PM!!!!!!! DUE TO THE LATENESS OF THE DAY AND TIME CHANGE , DARKNESS WAS UPON ME... MOVING IS STRESSFUL AS IT IS BUT TO HAVE TO GO THRU 2 OTHER UHAUL STORES, .. HAVING TO CALL UHAUL ABOUT MY CONCERNS AND WAS TOLD ONE THING AND NOTHING WAS DONE ....I KEPT CALLING THE NUMBER AND NO ONE WOULD CALL NOR PICK UP ...I CREATED MY UHAUL SERVICE WITH BELLS ON MY OWN!!! I WAS VERY STRESSED, VERY DISAPPOINTED, DISCOURAGED AND UHAUL SHOULD COMPENSATE ME FOR ALL THE DURESS! Sincerely
