The box looked like someone had a fire in it, there was a strong smoke smell. The login was delayed due to a problem with a system upgrade, it would have been better to be notified not to show up on time to avoid the registration delay
Tyler MLocation was unknowledgable and didn't tell me that it would cost me 270.00 to drop off the van in another part of the city. Had to drive all the way back to this location to return van.
Christina Sactually have the equipment I reserved, having a dedicated person to help me, not interrupting the check in process with checking out and chatting with the other customers, take less time to check me in and give me the keys.
Aliya LTruck was covered in a foot of snow. Paid for 12 furniture blankets and only got 7. Door was impossible to latch. Took 40 minutes to get the truck (from the time we arrived to the time we pulled away). One person running a convenience store can’t also be responsible for facilitating rentals.
JENNIFER REquipment ID: DC3292W - Contract: 12313772 Dear U-Haul Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally report damage to my personal belongings resulting from the poor condition of the rental truck I picked up on Dec 24/25 at 11am. As documented in my previous communication on Dec 24/25 at 1:10pm, I notified U-Haul immediately upon opening the truck and discovering evidence that a fire had been burned inside the cargo area. I provided photos of the damage at that time. Despite reporting this, I was in a position where I had to proceed with my move. So I clean all the ash or garbage from cargo side. Unfortunately, after completing the transport, I have found that the smoke odor from the truck has permeated my furniture, clothing, and household goods. My belongings now have a persistent, heavy smell of smoke. I am requesting the following: A full refund of my rental charges due to the equipment being provided in an unacceptable and hazardous condition. Information on filing a formal damage claim to cover the costs of professional cleaning and deodorizing for my affected items (mattresses, upholstery, etc.). Harsimran BThey made me wait for more than an hour because they couldn’t figure out the reservation system. Even when I selected pick up with QR code in my reservation to make it faster. And they charged me the coverage service which I didn’t select in my initial reservation so I paid 16dlls on top + more than one hour wait. Horrible experience
Mariana LVery poor. I order from the location 15 ft with utility dollys x 2 and furniture pads. When I came to pick up the truck it was not clean out of the snow, and had no dollys and pads. No explanation provided. The truck stacked because of the snow everywhere. I spend extra 45 min to take out of the snow.
