I had to go out of my way to get blankets and a dolly that wasn't ready for me. Then I get charged for a furniture dolly I didn't even get.

I had nothing but problems scheduling and picking up a uHaul truck for my latest move. I was told that a manager would be contacting me to discuss all the issues and have still not heard back from anyone. I've used Uhaul several times before as I have an invested interest in the company, I was incredibly disappointed in this overall experience which was by far the worse one I've ever had!!

We had a horrible experience with this location. We had a truck placed under our name and the employee refused to give us the keys for 40 minutes until we called the call center and the area manager, named John. The employee was literally no help and just said call support. When in the line with support, they also couldn't understand why they resfused to give us the truck so they called the location and they still wouldn't give it to us until John, the area manager also said to give it to us. I will never use this location again.

THIS RENTAL EXPERIENCE WAS A ABSOLUTE JOKE! I WAS RFUSED TO BE GIVEN THE KEYS BECAUSE THE UHAUL CUSTOMER SERIVE HAD NOT UPDATED THE ONLINE RENTAL. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERIVE 7 TIMES AND THEY COULD NOT FIX THE I .T. PROBLEM. IF IT WASNT FOR THE STORE OWNER BEING CALLED IN TO HELP WE WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PICK THE TRUCK UP. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BADLEY BY ANY RENTAL COMPANY. I WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT HOW BAD UHAUL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AND NVER TO RENT FROM THEM. THE TRUCK WAS FILTHY INSIDE AND OUT. GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE BECAUSE I WILL NEVER USE YOUR RENTAL COMPANY AGAIN.

Gas Tank was very low , no windshield washer at all in the truck so that I can at least go to the gas station. You should change your locks to digital locks , it’s difficult to open in extreme weather conditions

We were moved from one rental location to another. The place we went were not able to help and I was in the phone for an hour to pick up the rental. Then to drop it off there was a system glitch and again it took an hour to drop it off. I will NEVEr use UHaul again!!!!

The people at the location were friendly and tried to be helpful, but the locks didn't work so it took 45 minutes of calling and calling and calling of our 2h rental. It was extremely frustrating and the people on the phone were rude, as if we didn't know how to work a lock. They refused to send assistance. Someone finally gave us a different truck which was much bigger than we were comfortable with, but again it took 5 codes to get it open. Then the truck wouldn't start! We finally got it going with no AC on one of the hottest Edmonton days and absolutely ran through packing our things to return it in time. I will NEVER rent from UHaul again as this is a back-to-back horrible rental experience. To clarify again, the people at the location were kind and trying to be so helpful, but the equipment was trash and the online services were rude and useless for extended periods of time (in fact, even though we showed up 15min early to deal with any potential issues, we still lost 60min of our life).

The lock on the gate was not opening for the longest time, was pulling on it for at least 15 minutes. The lever that is supposed to open it was defective, had to push the locking mechanism instead of using the lever. Replace the lock, it is very close to be useless

The pick up system you guys use needs too be better. Took 2 1/2 hours too get into truck l, 4 calls too your 24/7 call line to get it too work. Worst system ever. Will not use again very disappointed. Truck was dirty and no gas in it.

took us two hours to get the equipment and two hours to return it this neighborhood model is a terrible, terrible idea, as is the 'do it yourself' check in and check out on the wretched app, which does not work very well at all ñ. please go back to having human employees assisting with the pick up and drop off process

The truck had dirty floors in the cab, and the back had not been swept out when I received it, but that did not hamper it's use. Picking up from a corner store seems suspect, and the staff were mostly hands off advising me to do most of the pick-up and return on my mobile, something I wasn't prepared for. I prefer to deal with a customer service person in this case because it was the first time I had ever rented from U-Haul. I appreciate that the charges for the two appliances dollies I had ordered but didn't receive were removed from the bill. I'm concerned however that there are two charges on my credit card for this rental. I'm curious why the cost/full charge wasn't completed in one transaction. While I still spent more on beer and pizza for moving crew, that $39.99 advertised rental cost is misleading, being far under the actual cost at the end of the trip. When communicating with customer service by phone, I did very much appreciate the effort the agent put in to find me a truck available to pick up the night before.

The instructions were inaccurate for how to collect the keys. Uhaul should update their information. There was no physical box to get a key from, as the photograph and written prompts indicated.

Ensure that the fuel tank is full. I picked up the truck with only a 1/4 full tank and returned it with 1/2 full tank. I believe I need the reimbursement of the $65 dollars I put in to it as I agreed to bring the truck back as I received it.

This was a neighborhood location where everything is done on your phone. Easy directions to follow, painless and quiet fast. WAY BETTER than going to the uhaul store where you have to take lunch and lawn chair to buy boxes let alone rent something.

It’s hard to use the truck when use to shift the gear,doesn’t run smoothly.i was disappointed when i pick up the truck and the system is down….i called customer service waiting for an hour and answer me that he can’t do anything,need recommendations for fast trouble shooting….we penalize by our tenant cuz we didn’t move out for the time that we need to leave our townhouse…….

Had to wait for 2 hrs to get the code for the lock i hade to call uhaul and wait on hold for over 1.5 hrs. The person who booked the truck for me was supposed to give me the code for the lock. Besides the women in the store didn't know anything and couldn't help at all.

The book online system is extremely slow and glitches so an operator is called and the ordeal takes forever and quite intrusive. This is the second time I have picked up a truck with less then 1/4 tank which is silly when returning the truck because guessing what amount 1/4 costs instead of returning it full like in the old days. The good thing about U-Haul is the affordable so as much complaining as I could do, no one else can beat your prices . Thank you

It was easy to get it. The only thing I had an issue was with the late night drop off. I couldn't get into the session to click it. And by the time I did, I had already locked the truck and put the keys in their designated spot. A reminder saying "don't do that until you have finished the late night return" would of been nice. But the gentleman who helped me get it at the start was fantastic.

1. Give the customer proper notice of when and where to pick up their U-haul. If this isn't possible, let them know of the posibilites for delay or location change and any other new proticols you have. 2. Add an equiptment maintenance protocal to your routine. We arrived with the Uhaul at my place only to discover the lock wouldn't open! Very frustrating, time we didn't have to spare and the extra expense of milage to troubleshoot this problem.

I picked my van up from a small convenience store. The guy at the counter was quick, helpful, and friendly. The van was perfect for my needs. Everything went as well as I could have hoped.

Equipment that was rented wasn't in truck. Contractor could not provide insurance and declined it without my consent although I had requested it on the order. Machine went down when I attempted to look at terms and conditions.
