CHRISTOPHER Sthis location was fine. My problem is that uhaul made me a reservation at a location in Marion North Carolina that is out of business. I was told a rep would call me the day before my reservation and that didnt happen. i showed up to an empty building. This was the nearest location, 38 miles away and a $170 cab ride. Uhaul hasnt offered any compensation. i hope i never have to use them again. My total outlay was $518.84 for a truck i used for 5 hours

DOLORES VThe oil pressure in the truck was low. This might have ended up with a damaged engine. I reported this problem when I turned in the truck.
NORMAN WAlex and his staff are excellent. They are very helpful and efficient.
RUSSELL BThe tires were bald and seems like something underneath was bent. It wasn’t a fun six hour drive. The girl checked the tires and said they were fine. The front were bald only on the outside.

Lisa MOverall, I am most disappointed because the drop off location charged me a $620.00 drop off fee. This seems to me to be a bit obsessive. Especially since I rented the trailer to bring much needed supplies into the area for disaster relief. You would think the dealer would have been a bit more willing to discount this fee allowing me to use the additional funds to support the neighbors in their area that suffering the most. This Uhaul dealer reporter to me that they were fine, and did not have any excessive damage to their property. Shame on them!!
CHRISTIAN PWe’ve rented several U-Haul’s from this location. They are excellent go above the call of duty very personable. Very easy to work with. Can’t say enough good things about them.

MICHAEL AAt the time I made the reservation for the U box and dropped it off at Climate Control Storage in West Monroe, LA I received assurances that it could be delivered from there to Johnson City and then Bakersville NC and I thought I had paid the money for that service and arrangements to have the u-box delivered from Monroe, LA Johnson City and then Bakersville NC by tomorrow, July 18. Today I called to confirm that delivery and Heather in Knoxville told me it was there (Johnson City) but there was no delivery service available and it was my problem to come and get it. I'm great anger, I made arrangements to get a ride down to Marion to get the only 10 foot truck available in my area to drive up to Johnson City to get it. Just an hour ago I get an email saying that the U-haul team is working on a "new arrival date" for delivery to Johnson City at the 11th hour after I have made arrangements for my son to come up from Augusta to help me unload it on the schedule you gave me. I drove across the eastern US to meet the schedule you provided. You have disrupted my life and my family after your false guarantee of delivery on a specific date and I now intend to try my best to sue you in small claims court to recover what I can for the extra expense, lost income, lost time, and massive inconvenience to my family. You have humiliated me yet again in front of my family and it appears you cannot ever make a u-haul reservation and believe what you are told. Once I resolve this massive problem I will not be using your u-box service again. Your company, with which I have spent thousands on many trailer and truck rentals, has betrayed me yet again. When Heather told me that the box was in Johnson City, that too was a lie, apparently. Please read this message that U-haul sent me earlier this evening, amplifying my despair and uncertainty. This text shows you can't be trusted. There has been a delay with your U-Haul shipping order #88463300. Our U-Box team is working on a new arrival date to the U-Haul of Johnson City. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. If you have any questions or concerns, please reply to this text or email us at status@ubox.com.

tommy bMy mother said that the man was a bit snappy and felt like he didn’t want to help. We are being over charged and can’t get anyone to tell us why. I wrote in the last comment box what is going on and we need to figure this out but are not getting any answers from your customer service representatives by phone or locations we rented from. Very frustrating

Niki JOur only problem was not with Al's it was with UHaul, we returned the trailer as it was suppose to be and then I got a e-mail stating the equipment had not been returned. After sittng waiting on the phone for a extremely long time on the third time trying I finely got thru to a representative for UHaul and told them that I had gotten an email stating that the rental equipment had not been returned on 12/01/23. The rep. said that was fine and a mistake had been made by UHaul and everything was taken care of. Next we received a notice that we have been charged for two extra days form the trailer not being returned, we then went back on hold for a rep. from UHaul and afterr two or three calls because of tired of being on hold we finally got another rep. she stated that she would have to speak to the return place to get them to veriify we had returned she sent us another refund to on my card for the charge for the two extra days. This is the worse experience that I have had in a long time. I would have thought they would have notified me before December the 4th that the equipment had not been returned and then before that they would have contact the drop off point which is a UHaul rental. to have found out that the trailerr has been returned on the 20th which was our time to return.I would have to think long and hard as to whether I would every use UHaul again.
sam mEnsure that the vehicle ordered (15-foot truck in this case) is available, not a lesser alternative (10-foot truck). This does not appear to have been the fault of the franchise, but of the system for allocating vehicles.

Frank SBig Al’s U-Haul is fantastic. We have rented trucks from him twice and have been so happy with the service the condition of the truck in the ease of doing so. We would highly recommend big Al’s for all your U-Haul needs and your shipping needs. 10 stars.
