Location not overly clean and inviting since U-haul is the secondary business, not its primary. It is an auto repair shop first in a urban area and the site functions as such. Difficult to answer the question above with a Yes and No.DANIELJOSEPH P.

Reserved to pick up at Watertown, NY about a month in advance just to have a call 48 before scheduled pick up time that they didn't have the truck available at the location. They sent us 1 hour north of Watertown to pick up. Not great when you are already stressed out with moving. Again...why have the reservation online option if this is going to happen?KALIMALEXIS A.

You may want to have a look at the ratchets on the front of the trailer. They are really stiff and hard to work.Carolann J.

This has nothing to do with Bills Tire Center. This is about the Old U-Haul truck that shouldn't be in service. Loose steering wheel, to much play in it. Window seal no good, a lot of noise coming in window, couldn't hear radio because of window noise and radio had a bad crackle sound when playing. Old U-Haul truck shouldn't be on the road, dirty and damaged.Robert H.

I ordered in advance a truck from canton one way to watertown, return in watertown. Day before my pickup told they no longer have truck in canton but I have to pick up a truck in ogdensburg instead. I asked if the rest of my reservation remained unchanged theybsaid yes. I pick up my truck in ogdensburg that say it is a one day from ogdensburg, to canton, return to ogdensburg. I told them and showed them it was one way to watertown with drop off in watertown. They said they fixed it. I drop off the truck with more fuel than was required and stayed within my original reservation mileage and I just got charged over $30 dollars for gas and milegae overage, when I shouldn't have been charged for either. This was a horrible experience and when I called uhaul about the issues I was having at the ogdensburg location getting them to honor my original contract I was told by Uhaul figure it out with the bill tire's in ogdensburg bc that is where I am getting the truck. Horrible service. Horrie experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! I also want my tefund for the over $30 I was charged at the drop off locationKRISTA F.

I could not use the app because there was no cell service available for my phone to connect to the internet. The owner of the place was very helpful in assisting me to close this out. You should have some search functions on the app that tells customers what to do if they cannot "share their location".JAMES D.

The tow dolly was not ready for me inspite of my reservation. For the sake of getting on my way, I drove to another uhaul location to get the parts so my rental dolly could now be repaired. The owner complained to me that he wasn't making any money off my business.Jeffrey S.

I had planned to rent a 10-foot truck from Skip's Auto in Potsdam, NY but the experience was very bad - the truck was not ready and stuck in mud (needed to be towed out), it was very dirty both inside the cab and outside, they incorrectly reported the mileage and gas, and failed to timely issue me a refund. (I had to contact my credit card company for help in getting a refund). After cancelling with Skip's, I was able to get a ride to the U-Haul dealer in Canton, NY. Although he did not have a 10-foot truck, he found one at Bill's tire Center, and gave me a ride over the 20-miles to Ogdensburg, NY where I rented from Bill. I cannot say enough good or kind things about the Canton dealer and Bill. Both were extremely courteous, professional and very helpful. The truck was clean, and I was on my way in no time. They even went above and beyond by giving me a ride to pick up the truck. Thank you so very much!Joseph C.

The business owner is not terribly friendly, but he has hired an efficient and friendly reservation desk person, "Kayla"? We had a two part rental and she was very efficient in calling to the next part of our trip to make sure they understood our needs. "Traffic" had somehow messed up the original plan.karen H.
Your online booking was great till I received a call 2 days later saying the truck I ordered was. It available at this location but would reserve me one 1/2 the size and call if this is a problem. 2 days of calling and waiting to speak to a rep to tell them that the smaller truck wouldn't do because I'd have to make 2 trips pay twice as much for gas and mileage. Never spoke to a rep because my arm got tired of holding the phone for 30 mins at time. I finally got a rep and as I started to explain my situation the line went dead. Now I've waisted 3 hours of my week on the phone with no results an a great deal of frustration because now I have no choice but to use the smaller truck and inform all my friends that have volunteered to help me that it will be twice as long that I will need their help. Over all not at all satisfied with my experience. Bills tire center however we're very professional and apologized for what was not even their mistake.Grant P.
