Reserved a truck a month in advance and when I arrived to pick it they told me yes I had a reservation but there was no trucks available. After speaking with a service rep I was offered a van at 50% off the cost per kilometer but was billed for the full price. I called again and the issue was escalated to a manager Gary that emailed me and said he listened to the call and that had not been mentioned. If the call was recorded which it does state on hold it would have definitely been clear that I was to get 50% off the price of kilometers. Very poor business standards and very poor management. You can bet I will never use UHaul again ever! Thanks for nothing!

Excellent staff. Tow dolly nighttime running lights were not functional and inspection showed some damage to the wiring that was not apparent at pickup

The location had limited in-person hours on the weekend. We did not visit the location as our truck broke down and could not be returned, so I am imagining it is clean and they are helpful.

You can stop charging cleaning fees if the uhaul isn’t even gonna be clean when it’s picked up. The lady also told me that I would get $50 back when I returned it but I didn’t get anything back.

It began with a telephone enquiry which went very well; everything was explained fully and accurately. The pickup, processing of payment and return, were exceptionally handled; everything from start to finish, involved the same CSR (Shannon), which was my first time meeting her and she provided a complete level of service that would be the envy of any other business entity. I will definitely refer people to her and I will not hesitate returning to this location.

My second time renting a 26' truck in a year at this exact location. Had a very friendly and professional service both times. Overall, great experience and never had any issue. Quick and easy rental totally stress free which helps a lot during moving day. Recommended! Thanks.

The trailer used to tow my vehicle was unusable. It took my husband 30 minutes to unravel and grease the tire wheel pulling contraption, as the previous user had completely ruined it.

I’ve been to three locations around Fredericton and I have found that the Carman location is the best because the lady who works at the desk her name is Shannon very knowledgeable and helpful.

There should be a credit returned if the vehicle is returned well under the booking time, i.e. if the rental is 4 hours and it’s returned in under 2, credit a portion of the remaining time back to the customer.

There were issues with the vehicle restraint system. Both units were compromised and unable to be used. I received a discount of 50% on my rental which I was more than happy for But I could’ve had a two hour wait waiting for a recovery call so I solve the situation myself The representative at the Carmen Avenue store was very helpful

I got charged a fuel charge despite filling the van up myself, with the exact amount of fuel they charged me for (19L) before dropping it off. i was talking with my friend who coincidentally also rented a similar van the same day and he encountered the exact same thing. After saying I have a receipt of my personal fuel charge, the receptionist told me 'ohh, looks like one of our U-Haul guys took the van out right before you picked it up'. Still waiting for a refund. Absolute joke, save your receipts. I will be going into the office tomorrow to dispute this in person.

Very friendly staff person. She was efficient. The exterior of the van was dirty but it's winter so mist vehicles are dirty from sand on the roads. The tires on the van were not suited to the weather. They spun on a small patch of ice where I had parked. Maybe because it had Arizona plates and this area gets winter weather and winter roads.

Even though the employee there was kind and efficient, this review has nothing to do with him. It took us over 40 min before we could drive away with the 12 ft trailer. The coupler was frozen. Once we managed to get that on the ball, the harness for the lights had a broken wire. We understand that with colder weather there can be issues but the customer before us had no issues with his trailer. The tongue should be sitting in a post, out of the snow when not in use. Other locations do this. I suggest that the trailers going out should be inspected before customer shows up.

The location opened late- we were waiting for them to come for 10 minutes after opening at 0800. There was no windshield wash fluid in the truck on a snowy day. Pick up attendant informed me to drop off the truck in Miramichi as initially requested- when I dropped truck off, it was in fact at another place some 48 kilometres away!! Not impressed!
