My reservation was for 9a.m. the owner showed up about 20 minutes late. It took entirely too long to check in. The owner knew nothing at all about how to hook the trailer to my vehicle.William G.
The vehicle was clean, but it had a mechanical issue. At 45 mph the steering wheel started to shake while in motion. On the expressway at 60-65 mph it was so bad i felt like a human in a paint shaker machine. My arms were worn out as if i was using a jackhammer. Due to no other trucks in the Flint. Mi area it was a 20 mile trip to go get this truck and i had no choice. We had a mandatory move out from an apartment. The truck issue could be from the front tires out of balance or broken belts in the tires. I did advise the location of this issues upon returning the truck.Jerome A.

The U-Haul employee who hooked up the trailer to my truck did not do it properly. The trailer became detached from my truck and before that it crashed into the back of my truck causing immense damage to my vehicle. It came apart on the road and I only drove 2 miles. Needless to say it scared me and my son as we were on a very busy road. The employee who was helping me stopped helping me to attend to a man with a lottery ticket then came back but was not checking his work as thoroughly as he should have been in my opinion. I am not happy with the service I did not use the trailer for the intended purpose, and I think something should be done about this.Maureen M.

The rental place had issues with the computer system. Took much longer than it should have taken. Funny that you want me to rate your survice since I dont have the full bill yet. Your rates for different days and add on charges will most likely be way more than I expect it to be.norm K.

The service was poor. They wanted to overcharge me. I've used the uhaul service previously and was happy with my experience however this time was unsatisfactory. There were broken glass shards in the back of the truck and it was dirty when we opened the back end. I would definitly not recommend and discourage anyone from using this service.Beverly Y.

When I made my reservation by central reservation, initially I was told that my rate included 104 miles for the 1st day! Then the next day I was to $40. I was almost certain the customer service rep told me that I would have the same 104 mile for the second day! Today when I turned in my vehicle I was charged a different rate! Overall it was ok. The printer did not work when I picked up the truck or when I returned it. When I returned the truck they charged me more for gas. I never had a paper showing me the exact amount of fuel. It needs to be more professional.tori B.

The cashier that helped me was awesome. But when I went to start the truck it was dead. The only other option was a 20ft and her boss she was on the phone with refused to compensate or give me a discount for taking a smaller truck. I couldn't fit everything in the 20ft.Jackson S.

Make sure the times are set correctly. Do not tell a customer to come at 9, not be open until 10 and then not inform the customer without him/her having to call customer service to get the problem resolved.chris P.

The uhaul was filthy in the bed of the truck. Had to sweep it out and wipe it down because of how dirty it was. One of the reasons I choose Uhaul was to not have to worry about my items being dirty, or else I would have used a trailer that we own but it is not an in closed trailer. Another thing was that the pick up site did not do a walk around and was not able to answer my questions. When I saw that the truck was dirty, I went back in and the guy that was working just looked back at me. Didn't say anything. So I walked out. Not only did he not have any comment about the truck bed being dirty, he didn't say one thing! Another issue was that it took over 1/2 hour to get the keys to the uhaul and I did the express check - in online. He never asked me for my DL or identification. Don't pick up a uhaul from here! You will regret it!Tasha B.

We were told if we returned the UHaul with between 1/4 and 3/8 of a tank of gas we would not be charged the $30 refuel fee. We used the truck for a total of 13.96 miles, and returned it exactly between 1/4 and 3/8 of a tank, and were charges anyway. Next time, try practicing good business policies and not lying to the customer. I will NEVER use U-Haul again. I rented a truck for 6 hours and drove less than 14 miles and it cost me $100 because the person we rented from lied to us.Chris B.

The location my reservation was made with did not have the trailer I reserved on hand when I went to pick it up. I had to go to a different location to get it. The trailer running lights were constantly going out the entire trip on the passenger side, and the location refused to check them by hooking it up to another vehicle when I dropped the trailer off (just to make sure it wasn't my truck or hitch causing the issue). Because they weren't verifying the condition of the trailer lights in my presence, they also said they could not discount my rate for the inconvenience. I was told I'd get a call in a day or two and did not hear from them today, and it's been 25hrs since I dropped the trailer off. I'm not happy.rachel C.
