This is not a comment for the U-Haul location in Genoa City. This is meant for the overall reservation experience that I had. I walked in to the McHenry, IL location and the set me up with a reservation that was going to fail from the beginning. They gave me a trailer that was not available at the time of pick up. The Location in Richmond, IL where I went to pick it up was no help in getting the reservation fixed. They said, "You will have to call U-Haul to figure it out." That was the end of the conversation. Not telling me that the trailer was expected in at 1pm. Not the number for reservations. Just sorry cant help you. Very Very frustrating.Theodore D.

I rented this truck Thursday, early evening and returned it a few hours later, and no miles added to it, when I rented it again Sunday, and the side mirrors had large clumps of mud on them, and mud up the sides. I know this was not there when I left it Thursday. Also, my contract Thursday had an extra charge on it, that should not be there.Duane G.
In the mom's attic area when while unoacking we found a number of wet boxes due to the rain we drove hrough. There must be a leak in that area which damages many of my items.Carol B.

The location is a combination auto repair and rental facility so be prepared for an auto shop visit vs. newer facility. Al, the owner, is great to work with and I'd definitely do business with him again.Patricia H.
1st I would list a place available for a return location when the business is closed on a normal business day. I had the trailer for use over 4 days from Friday, August 9 to Tuesday, August 13. My move went smoothly and I could have returned the trailer on Monday, August 12 saving a days rental fee. I watched the video and it was very unclear as to securing the dollies and blankets. I will not rent from U-HAUL again and will certainly provide my experience if asked about your company.Paul T.

They are a great place. Uhaul, not this location, Uhaul screwed up my order and over charged $97 on my rental. Their customer service told me the price I was quoted did not exist. By the end of the phone call they admitted I had been quoted the lower rate and would receive a call to refund the difference within two days. On day 3 and no call.kent B.

My issue is not with the initial rental location my issue is with the failure by the regional office to provide the 15ft truck as reserved. I was offered a 10ft truck with a trailer...I only took the 10ft truck since I had to move on June 29th and didn't want to deal with a trailer. I was never told that the 10ft truck doesn't have a ramp, this caused a major issue loading and unloading my furniture. The inside of the truck wasn't clean, so I had to sweep it out before and after my move.Barry H.

Reserved a 26ft truck in McHenry IL. on Oct. 20th for Nov. 2nd was told the truck would be there or Crystal lake. was called on Oct. 29th was told no 26ft. truck in the area but they have a 20ft. in Wis. I needed the truck so I agreed on the way to pick up the truck in Wis. I passed by the place in McHenry where I reserved the truck and there were two 20ft. trucks in the lot. Went to pick up the truck it took 1 hour & 15 minuets to get the paperwork so I could take the truck. Bobby who was doing the paperwork she did everything right it would come to the end of the checkout it would say error we went over it 3 times and all the info was correct she called uhaul and of course was put on hold when she explained the problem they told her they couldn't help there system has been down for 45 minutes and told her to call I think his name was Ryan who was driving he would call back after he pulled over and pulled up my contract he called back and okayed it then I was on my way 1 hour & 15 minuets later to bad uhaul can't deliver what they promise.paul M.
Trailer I rented has an issue with the coupler. I was traveling on IL47 in Woodstock IL when the trailer bounced and became uncoupled to my truck hitch. The furniture and household items received damage due to the upset that followed the uncoupled condition.HAROLD D.
This location was fine but I only went to this location because my original rental at the mobile station in lake geneva Wisconsin had a flat tire. I only noticed it after I pulled off the lot. You'd think somebody wouldve inspected it before handing me the keys.Tyler B.

My brother rented same truck and got either 120 or 150 miles included plus i went to return at a dealer in menomanee falls wi then went to one in Pewaukee this all cost me 30 to 40 dollars extra in miles this is not good customer service.Also after return got a call to drop at different Pewaukee location but it was to late then I tried to ask about the extra travel miles but kind of got blown off. I hope you can adjust price for meanthony L.

Check trailers when people drop off. The trailer I had had bad tires on it and had to call service to change berfore leaving. Also I don't believe the surge brakes were working. So service on trailers before renting them out would be a good idea.Donald C.
