The people didn't know anything. Weren't helpful at all. Returned the truck with too much gas due to malfunction of the truck and didn't get a refund. Had to call 2 people myself because they wouldn't call. And the people I called didn't help me. They had no problem charging me extra money for the extra miles but could care less about crediting me for the gas.

Send text notification to customer as to where the trailer has been reserved. I had spoken with Tim Workman of Workman Auto Sales to reserve the trailer, but when I called on the day I was to pick it up, he told me it was not there & he had to call me back after finding out where the trailer was.

I will never use this service again.

It was 30 minutes from my house, and when I got there the truck was down an icy snowy hill with a pond below it. I could not get the truck out. The uhaul representative had to tow me out. Once he got it towed, the horn did not work. I was refunded and afterwards rescheduled to pick up another truck at this location in Smithfield, Ky. This location was much better, but was the end result of a lot of frustration.

Christopher G.Improve your online check in process. I have rented 3 different trailers from 3 different vendors over the last month. Every time I take the time to take the needed pictures of my ID. Every time the vendor has to redo all of what i already did because they say they dont get it and that never works. Every time the pickup process takes at least 30 minutes.
RICHARD H.U-Haul needs to work on their website. The app is dreadfully slow and redundancies abound. Customer service does not have the tools they need to serve customers. The app should not need to ask for my password every time I open it, and should not log me out if I have it in the background for a few minutes. Company, fine. Website, sucks so bad it makes me hurt.

Catherine W.The entire online rental experience was a joke. Getting passed to three different locations because, evidently, in store customers take precedence over online renters. I was put in the position of not knowing whether or not I was going to get a truck at the last minute. I put in my request as soon as I knew I needed the equipment. Then, to get passed from one location to another at the last minute created stress I didn't need. Having to drive nearly an hour, at the last minute, to get the truck I requested really ate in to time I didn't have. And added to an already stressful situation. Either the equipment is available at the time I place the request or it isn't. All of that should be known at the time. The option to get a different size truck was never considered by any of the locations I dealt with. In addition, through no fault of theirs, I wasn't able to get an appliance dolly. Which I desperately needed. I was given a regular dolly. I was able to make it work. But, that's not the point. Thankfully, Ryan and the folks at Blue Warehouse Discounts, are great people. I deliver to them through my job. And they are stellar folks. My experience with them was five star. My experience with U-Haul, not so much. All in all, it's making me consider other options the next time around. The convenience of your online system just doesn't make the hoops I had to jump through at the last minute worth it. If I had any suggestions for improvement, I would offer them. I'm not one to cut you and not offer a band aid.
