Location was fine. Your app was again an issue. Kept trying to charge me for gas when I had returned the rental with a lot more gas than when I had picked up the rental. At least this time it did not take 40 minutes as it did upon check in.

No where to get out of the heat/sun. Truck was dirty. Took forever online. Then the truck had damage and I had to take pics. Too much BS and too much money!

This is my second negative experience with this uhaul rental location (Bolivar Hardware, Bolivar, TN). The first experience came from a truck with obvious front-end suspension issues that made the truck dangerous to drive and was clearly not road worthy, additionally I was charged a $40+ fuel surcharge for the truck being “1/16 of a tank low” even though I fueled the truck up less than 3 miles from the rental location. For the second negative experience I reluctantly rented a utility trailer. I called Bolivar Hardware to inquire about a 5’x7’ utility trailer. I was told they had 2 available and the rate would be $18.99 a day. Upon arriving to rent the trailer, roughly 30 mins later I was informed that they had “accidentally misquoted” me when I called and the trailer rental was actually $24.99 per day. In actuality they didn’t have the size trailer I needed so without even acknowledging their mistake they moved me up to a trailer roughly the same size with a ramp on it (which I did not need). I did not know that the trailer they were renting me was different than the one I had inquired about. I told them that I was unsure of the exact number of days I would need the trailer, they said this was not an issue but to keep them posted. I used the trailer for 12 days. Upon returning the trailer I asked if they would adjust the rental fee for the trailer they had quoted me for and apply a weekly rate to my rental (which would have made a $100+ difference in my rental fee. They refused both. The individual I dealt w/ was obviously irritated by any question I asked, and while not overtly rude, it was obvious that he did not like me asking any questions regarding my rental fee and if they would make an adjustment for an issue that was clearly their mistake. So after paying the $370+ rental fee I told him to have a nice day. I will never rent or purchase any item from this dealer in the future. I have tried to contact the local Uhaul customer service office several times with no success. I highly recommend using another uhaul rental facility.

The customer service here was very unprofessional. The gentleman that overseen the return process spoke to me in a very unprofessional and uncomfortable manner by raising his voice and flashing is cellular phone in my face. I will not recommend anyone do business at this location.

Our overall experience with U-Haul has been unsatisfactory. The original reservation was made for pickup at the Lamar Street location in Memphis, TN. We were given a confirmation call the night before. We arrived at our reservation time, and our truck was not there. We were told we would have to drive to Bolivar, TN if we wanted a vehicle that day. We had to drive two and a half hours round trip to pick up a truck. It was filthy inside the cab. We barely made it back to Memphis, TN to meet our movers. We were given some compensation by the man at the Lamar Street location in the form of $50. We were also given a small discount by the scheduling coordinator.
