I find it extremely complicated. When renting, we have to indicate a drop off time and place, but you messed around with the pick up place. All a sudden, we have to go much further to pick up the vehicle. This disturbs plans considerably.

Guillaume G.The pick up location was supposed to be in Boucherville and UHaul sent us 45 min out of our way to get the truck! Very poor service, very frustrating and caused additional costs as we also had to drive our other vehicle back and forth to accommodate the new location. We were advised at the last minute so there was no time to make alternative arrangements. VERY DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICE!!! The young man who dealt with us was nice but had no power whatsoever to help with the situation.

Sebastien L.Il y a cette information a mon dossier si les gens du service clientèle l'on inscrit comme ils m'ont mentionné que il le ferait,bref ,j'ai été victime d'un employé qui a la place de dire la vérité que il n était pas capable de se connecter au service de location de uhaul pour me faire mon contrat et facture de location et bien il a eu la brillante idée de me faire accroîre que la date d'expiration et mon numéro de permis n'était pas les mêmes au système que la pièce d'identité que je lui présentait,il m'a obligé a appelé a la SAAQ et au service clientèle de uhaul pour faire changer mes informations quand toute était des mensonges il m'a humilié et ridiculiser devant les clients jusqu'à me rire carrément dans la face et me dire que si je n'avais plus besoin de rien de sortir du commerce et d aller appelé le service clientèle dehors,je pense sérieusement a ne pas en rester là avec cette événement

The truck was basically brand new and very clean. I'm happy. Will definitely go back when I need another truck.

Jean M.Online it showed that I ordered two dollys and 4 blankets. Once we reached the location as stated in the text instructions there was no equipments available and nobody on site was helping to correct the situation. They were not able to help and provide us access to the uhaul costumer service to have support to correct this bad service. This was the worst experience I had so far using uhaul and I blame the two owners of this location at saint jean sur Richelieu. We left with one truck but with no equipment what so ever and this made our move extremely dangerous and difficult. The staff at the location was rude and kept blaming the uhaul brand name to not take accountability for their human mistakes ( or carlessness) it was a nightmare!

Chantal W.provide guideline on how much gas in liters or $ to fill based on the km driven. We accidentally filled up way above what the gas level that we picked up the truck with because it was difficult to gauge how much to fill. We ended up refilling and adding twice as much as gas we actually used.

Sophie S.I was quite disappointed with my UHaul experience. Even though I rented from a location in downtown Montreal, I was required to pick up the truck at a location over 30 minutes away. This cost me money to get there (taxi) and extra money for gas to get back to Montreal to complete the move I needed to do. So, if you're renting a one way trip, ensure the vehicle you rent is actually at the location you want— or you'll be out quite a bit if extra money. Why couldn't UHaul drive the truck to the location I rented from? Why did I have to go out of my way to get it? And pay for my trip to get it? What happened to customer service? Not good.

Claude T.J'avais réservé un diable et un camion 15 pieds en ligne. Rendu sur place pour prendre possession du camion, il n'y avait pas de diable de disponible, pour un déménagement sans diable ça ne va pas bien. Personne ne m'avait contacté pour m'aviser que le diable n'était disponible. J'ai appelé la compagnie de location, personne ne parlait français, pourtant on n'est au Québec, pour me faire dire d'appeler un autre numéro pour aller chercher un diable à un autre succursale. Avec le prix de la location du camion et le gaz, je n'étais pas intéressée à faire 40 km de plus pour aller chercher un diable plus loin. Faire attention, le montant fracturée n'est pas selui de l'estimation en ligne. Beaucoup plus cher.

Robin Ian A.First of all... was there for a 40 minutes to take the snow off the truck to find the driver wiper blade was rip halfway... the interior looked as if they're was a Pepsi or Coke party all over the dash... The box floor was filthy... The clerk was wonderful by changing the wiper for us... but was alone for U-Haul and gas at the same time... to small of a shop for both.

Nicolas G.vous m'avez chargé en double et mon millage étais seulement de 37 milles. j'ai eu une charge de 213.12$ qui a passer sur ma carte qui étais supposé être annulé. qui n'a pas été annulé. et ensuite vous avez passé un montant de 142.09$ et d'après mes calcule, j'arrive a un montant de 122.86$ plus taxe. la vous avez passé 355.21$ sur ma carte. et autre chause j'ai jamais signé la feuille de la facture de 213.12$
Carole P.J'étais supposé aller chercher le camion à Brossard et le déposer à St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, mais j'ai dû aller le chercher à St-Jean, ce qui était un gros détour. J'ai dû appeler plusieurs fois le service à la clientèle et expliquer ma situation à plusieurs reprises. Finalement, j'ai réussi à avoir des km supplémentaires sans coût additionnel. Toutefois, j'ai dû remplir l'essence au même niveau, ce qui revient à payer plus au final. Je n'ai pas aimé mon expérience Uhaul et je ne vais pas le recommander.

luc D.Thé truck had food in front, not clean at all, i had to clean it my self. I reserve to one location, they change the location because that my equipement wasn't available but i just call the place and it's availabe so i had to cancel everything and start again with a new réservation for the place i wanted. And to finish, i told thé guy that i will drop the truck to an specific place and i he put me 20km from there i was supposed to be. I wish that my message will be considered to have à berger service next Time. Thank you

Valerie C.The clerk had to call the agent (his boss) to complete the transaction - they could not find my credit card information on the reservation - the clerk had to take pictures of my driver licenses and health care cards on both sides on his personal cell phone and send it to his boss - major security issues privacy violations for identity theft -unbelievable way to run a business - I wasted 45 minutes and I had to talk to the clerk's boss on the clerk personal cell phone since he doesn't speak English very well and she does not speak any french. I will never again go there - I feel bad for the clerk who had to work in such a bad environment.
PIERRE G.Unfortunately, this was not the location I wanted. I received a notice from Uhaul the day prior that they did not have any truck at my preferred location and I had to drive 45 mins to this location to get a truck. Nonetheless, the service at the location was fine.
Etienne K.When I picked up the truck I took a picture of the fuel gage. When I dropped the truck, I ensure the gaz meter gage was the same and took a picture. The guy who took the return truck was not helpful and did not tell me a word when he feel like the fuel gage was below what it should be according to him and put a $ 19 charge for 3 lts of gaz even if I showed him the pictures. Remember, we are at a gas station and it would have been easy to tell me to put THREE LITTRES OF GAS. But his answer was: if you are not happy, call this number and he proceed to give me a phone number of Uhaul help line. $20 is not that big of a deal BUT it is the sour sensation of being screwed that takes over. Over all, this was a good experience if we take the return clerk out of the equation.
