We initially had one reserved with this particular rental place(town where we live) to tow our truck to Branson..my husband had gone down the day before we were to leave town and asked about getting one..they said they had one so we went next morning and did all the paperwork/computer work only to find out that we were not going to be able to get it bc someone else had in the meantime booked it online with UHaul which knocked us out of getting it so I had to drive our truck and my husband drive our motorhome to Branson….delayed us a bit in getting on the road but it happened….anyway, they were helpful when we brought the one back from Branson and dropped it off..they came out and helped my husband unhook the truck from the hauler and we got on our way to our house.

DAVID PMy reservation was booked and confirmed but when I arrived the store was closed. There was no one there to give me keys. The truck I was reserved for was blocked in by other trucks very close and had I been given the keys I would have been in jeopardy of hitting another uhaul backing out. I also would have had to back into someone's front yard. I waited for a bit to see if someone would show up to give me keys but no one did so I called the help line. The lady was nice and helpful but we got disconnected and she didn't call back. Luckily a uhaul representative showed up. I asked if he was there to give me keys and he said no and that he was also confused as to why they were closed. He offered to let me take a different truck if there were keys in the lock box. Fortunately there were but unfortunately it was for a much larger truck. This would be amazing on any other move but I live off a busy and slightly narrow road. It was hard to get in the driveway and once I did we realized it was to close to the fence to put anything in and stuck out in the road. I had to maneuver the truck between a large tree, my neighbors brick wall and my house to be out of the road and be able to load my stuff. All of this could have been avoided had someone been there to give me the proper truck. I want to thank the representative who came by, he did his best. My move would have been delayed if not for him.
