Original reservation was not at this location. Booked location acted surprised when I showed up, did not have the equipment I had ordered. Guy was nice, but couldn't reach owner or uhaul, didn't know what to do. I called uhaul, rep tried to assist me. Gave me an alternate location closing in 20 minutes that was a 30 min drive. I told him I couldn't make it in time. Gave me another address open later, now a 45 min drive away. I am glad I expressed frustration that now I needed to panic drive 45 minutes away to pick up when I had booked it 3 weeks earlier next to my house. If I accepted this alternate solution, I would have been driving all night. I pushed back and he gave me this 3rd option, Breezy Buys, which is 2 blocks away from where I originally booked! I was really frustrated, as if I hadn't complained I would have spent all the extra time and effort if I had accepted what he gave me. So after dealing with 2 people (the original store, that didn't have my reservation, and the phone agent, that tried to send me across the whole city)...I was pleasantly surprised to get to breezy buys and have a knowledgeable, professional, quick experience with someone that clearly knew what they were doing and had me on my way, with what I rented, quickly and effeciently. 0 stars for original location, 2 stars for uhaul phone line - the 5 stars was all Breezy Buys.

The truck didn’t have a padlock, so that was a bit of a issue. I had to drive all the way to a home depot to get one for 30 bucks for 1 use… other than that everything was good

We did not inspect the van or note the odometer on checkout. I only noted the mileage after i left. On return, the mileage claimed was greater than what I’d noted but without a record, I had to pay for whatever the log said was the starting mileage which was off. Verbally disputing it had no effect. Since then van rental has a per km charge, this is not how this should be handled.

It's way too far from where EI live. And the cost was atrocious. I can get a Modo cargo van for 5x less. U-Haul also scammed me last time I rented a truck. I will never rent from U-Haul again

The third party pickup location person was rude, unprofessional, and not knowledgeable about the vehicle at all. Not at all the professional UHaul experience that I am used to. I will definitely not use this location again, nor recommend it to anyone.

Call Center booked me the van for the day, this location let me take it for 2 1/2 hrs. So only got 50% moved. Then tried to bill me for the last persons also. Google address is incorrect.

I had a bit of confusion with the discrepancy between the receipt amount and the amount that appeared to be billed to my Visa. But then found I also have a “receipt” for the Visa Authorization, so I think I understand. It is possible that calling the Authorization something other than “receipt” would have eased that blip of anxiety, but maybe not, too.
