E JStore clerk should hang up the phone and actually talk to the U-Haul customer. In the end there were no problems but, I may have had comments or questions for him. All he said was, “I’ll email a receipt” and then went back to his phone call. Never looked at the truck or the dollys or even asked where the truck was.

James NI was re-assigned to pick up from this location which was not where I had originally planned to pick up. I had to back track to this location from where I was starting out. Once I arrived I had to wait on the owner to arrive. This cost me about 40 minutes of my time. The owner did all the sign in work, and when I got in the truck I told him the gas gage was not filled up like it was supposed to be. He told me it was ok and to take a picture of it and show it to the drop off location and that they would honor it as long as I put the same amount of gas back in it as what the gauge stated. I have documented pictures as proof. The truck was also dirty on the inside and out.
Shaun MThis was my second reservation picking up at the same location. Last time in the beginning of November I had to cancel because I wasn't able to pick up. This time I went at 11 like I was told to do and the ppl at the place didn't have keys they said you had to check lock box. I didn't have a code so I called to get the run around for over a hour. Went to my closing was guaranteed it would be easy when I got back. Got back and sat on the phone for over another hour waiting to end up having to go to another location 15 mins out my way. Needless to say this was the worst experience a single mom could ever have. On top of it all I paid movers and wasn't able to move in my allotted time frame. The representative told me I would be compensated once I returned the truck in which it did not happen. I do not recommend anyone to pickup at this location.

ODELL MCustomer service canceled my reservation without my approval. Rescheduled a new rental at a further location and did the reservation incorrect and had a charge of 1200.00 which was incorrect. Phone program was a joke and took me 1.5 hours to get the truck. Keys were not where they were supposed to be located. Retail store where truck was located did not provide assistance. This was the worst rental I have ever got.

George MMy husband arrived at 11:30 am to pick up the trailer. To begin, the person at the desk told him that he couldn't check him in because the system was down. I called the U-Haul company number and they told me to tell him to come back in an hour. When he came back, he was told he would need to do self check in, as their computers were still down. I called U-Haul and they stated that he couldn't do self check in when renting a trailer. When he checked again, he was told the person who could help him went to lunch. He ended up not even getting the trailer until 3 pm. That was ridiculous.
Brian HThe hours of operation did not match my reservation. There was not a light hookup on the trailer and the blinkers didn't work- and no one on site to troubleshoot or swap equipment.
Gary BI had a reservation to drop if the trailer at this location. I did the return via the UHAUL app. It was easy and efficient. I returned the blankets inside the store. I was in and out and fast as it took me to disconnect the trailer.
Terry CI dropped off the trailer on Friday, May 24th. The truck was due back Monday, May 27th by 8:46am. My wife and I were there well before then and the store was not open. I left the keys in the drop box. Now, I am being charged for an extra day because someone did not check in my truck until well after 9am. I have an open dispute over this matter now. Daniel RThe back of the truck and cab weren’t clean. Also when I received my bill via email, it was for a rental I did back in 2020 located in another state. Otherwise the ease of renting the truck online was great. Also UHaul customer support was awesome!!

Glen BBe specific as far as where and how to drop off. One side of the building is not very inviting (liquor store) and the side I decided to walk into the gentleman just pointed and told me the key drop off was the box outside their store.

Byron KUhaul needs to get better organized. We made a reservation at one site. Two days before pickup, we got a text saying there was no truck available, so we had to negotiate another location. That location didn't have the 15' truck so we were upgraded to a 20' truck.

Mark SMy rental experience today started off horribly. I had made a reservation at beauty shop in Warrenville SC and when I showed up to get the truck no one was there. I spoke to someone in uhaul who called the location and was told there was someone in the beauty shop but there wasn't. Back and forth with uhaul and the beauty shop on the phone came down to they didn't have my reserved truck. As a minimum I should have been notified my vehicle reservation could not be accommodated before I drove to the location. Next the owner of the beauty shop location was rude and got mad at me for calling uhaul. She told me she had a larger truck but it would cost more. This was not acceptable so I had to drive to get a truck at breezy hill. In the end I was able to accomplish my move. I have rented from uhaul many times and never had any issues I will never rent from the original Warrenville SC location due to poor customer service and not notifying me that my reservation was not available.
Kevin KRelatively smooth and efficient procedure... I was left to back into a field to retrieve the trailer furthest away instead of the one right next to the parking lot. But it was easy enough. No assistance but I was able to figure out the hitch mechanism.. again easy enough for someone experienced with trailers. Might be tough on a newbie.

Jackie MDropped of the truck and the person at the location, a convenience store did not come out to look at the truck. Fortunately I took pictures as they stated I did not return the vehicle with gas. After submitting the pictures of the fuel guage I got my money refunded by a very helpful customer service representative.

Randy SI will not use U-Haul again I returned the equipment back at 10:30 at night I had put on the contract that I would use it until 1:00 the next day and I was charged for the entire time even though I returned it early the store was closed but it was under the cameras and they could tell that I had returned it at 10:30 that night so again I will not use U-Haul again because I did return the equipment way earlier than then I had it and I

Darlene MNot including the extra $162.00 charged to my account I’m disputing; the gentleman that booked the U-Haul stated I could not return the truck to the nearest U-Haul facility closest to me that would have save on mileage due to the truck being privately owned. There was also no furniture dollies and pads I initially booked on order which made the move more difficult. I was advised not to do business with this location in Graniteville but decided to as a result of it being closer to were I was moving from.
Gregory BThis clarifies did not have any gas when the truck was picked up. On E and I had to get gas before I could begin driving. I also ordered. 20’ truck and was given a 15’ truck and was charged a 20’ price and was told the price would decrease.
Asia RWe have photos & video for our social media reviews which won’t be good. The truck was filthy, not swept out, can was full of dirt, trash and food! Gross & unacceptable! Fuel was on 1/8 and we returned on the same but got penalized! I will never use UHaul again. Our complaints meant nothing!

kenneth wReservation email stated guaranteed by 7 phone pickup. I didn't get the truck until 855 and is was manual checkout. Mgr said he was coming in and never did. Moving we waiting an hour on me.
James Cpick up location asked me to attach the trailer myself. I wasn't able to lift the trailer myself and the representative eventually was able to come and help. He began to chain up the trailer in a way I felt was incorrect per u-haul helpful videos. (i.e. chains not cross-connected, hooked directly to the hitch rather than running through and hooking back to the chain itself.) I corrected the issues in front of the representative and he thought it looked okay. All went okay from there.

LILLIAN JI called UHaul to reserve a 6x12 trailer for the day. The representative allegedly verified that equipment was available at a location just north of Aiken, SC, so I confirmed that reservation. That location had only 5x8 trailers when I arrived. The clerk called the manager, and they located one in Graniteville, causing unnecessary delay and frustration. The second location had the trailer I needed, and it was in excellent condition.
KEVIN HThe truck so so dirty and literally piles of dirt in the back. The front had cans all in there if empty redbull and other cups. We had to sweep and blow and mop the back of the truck before we could even use it. DO NOT GO THERE. Taking the truck back was terrible the guy at the desk didn’t even speak English well at all!!! He did not understand what I wanted and could not follow clear simple instructions given to him for paper work that I needed. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!
Allen LPlease make the the response tab more clear. Because I hit button for no $10 coverage but after receiving my receipt I was stilled charged for this. There should be a summary of all charges before you are allowed to pay.
Shawanda SIt was unclear where I was supposed to go to speak to someone about uhaul because it was in a strip mall type of situation. I think the store should have a large uhaul sign so customers are sure where to go.

Kendrique SThe truck was dirty in the cabin and in the back. Someone had used it for hauling yard debris or mulch and it stunk. I had to sweep it out multiple times, spray it with deodorizer, and let it air out. Additionally, the employees ignored me the first couple times I tried to return it. Do not use this location.
