The employee at the Lake View location was very pleasant. However, there is a big disconnect in communication. I called to inform the company that I would be keeping the UHaul until Monday and returning it on Tuesday morning. The employee in the Marion office did not correctly document my account, so UHaul kept hassling me about my rental. I felt like a criminal! The Lake View office instructed me that all I had to do was call to inform them of my extended rental, and my card would be charged when I returned the rental. I did as I was told. UHaul tried to charge my card and gave me the impression that they were concerned that I could not present payment. I used the business expense card for my rental. Therefore, I only had funds as needed. I had two different instructions from two different people representing UHaul. I went with the instructions of the Lake View office, as that is where I retrieved my rental. I turned my rental in as communicated and paid my bill as contracted. I will not be doing business with this company going forward. I tried to patronize local businesses. However, this business proved to be challenging. I will continue giving my business to Enterprise Rental Car, which is not so difficult.
