I dropped off virtually and didn’t speak to anyone

The guy was an ass I paid for a furniture dolly and never received he refused to allow me a dolly unless I was back before closing I was never credited for the dolly. I have rented from you haul allot and have always had a good experience up till now.

There was a cock roach in the storage space of the truck when I got home and opened the back. The truck I rented also leaked in the rain causing some of my belongings to get wet.

I rented a trailer and moved a small tractor from Iowa to Georgia. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. To start, I rented the trailer, from a specific location one month in advance. The day prior to pick up, I received a call from U-Haul letting me know that the trailer was not available. They did have one 50 miles away and if I would be willing to pick it up. I was a little irritated, but said yes, I would take it. When I was on the phone, I asked if this new location had a hitch and a receiver available for rent, the assistant said yes. While completing paperwork at the alternate location, the assistant asked me where I would like to return the trailer. I gave him an address two miles from my house. He said that I could not return it there because it didn’t show up in his system. I told him that I drive by it every day and that I had rented stuff there before. Again, he informed he couldn’t see that location and asked me if could return it 18 miles away, I bit my lip and said yes. I then asked him if they had a receiver or hitch to rent. He informed that they did not have additional towing equipment for rent, but I could go next door to Tractor Supply and get one. Didn’t argue, just went and got one. We get the trailer connected and hook up the lights, they do not work. I asked if we could get another trailer, he quickly said no. I stood there for a minute perplexed, then reached down and shook the wire harness, light came on. Found a shorted wire, so I took the trailer and made repairs at the house. Once on the road the trailer worked fine. The return also went smooth, and yes, I made sure it was after hours. The ONY way I will rent from U-Haul again is if I have no other option.

This is the third place we went to get our reserved uhaul trailer. We booked thru one dealer, one day before our reservation our pickup place changed. Day of our reservation pickup, no one was at the designated location. We were then directed to bridecity location..thank goodness! He took great care of us. If we need uhaul services again, we will go straight to bridecity for reservation purposes.

I reserved at a different location but was contacted stating I couldn’t get my trailer there and I was sent here to get a different one at the same price. When I got there the different one wasn’t available, I was then going to be charged twice as much for what they did have until he changed the reservation to yet a different trailer that was reserved for someone else the next morning, I told him I couldn’t have it back that soon and he said he can figure something else out. He said there’s more than one way to skin a cat. He asked me when I could have it back, I told him 1pm. He rented it to me, then called me the next morning at 9 telling me his other customer was there and I needed to get the trailer back immediately denying that I told him it would be back by 1. I hadn’t even finished my use of it and had to bring it back. I’ll have to find another way to haul my load. He also charged me $60 deposit, which I’ve never been charged and I’ve been renting since the 90’s
