As mentioned in my previous review, this location did not explain or offer the Safe Move insurance for the truck rental. I was charged for this insurance. In addition, I was charged for the FREE 5' x 8' enclosed trailer and Safe Tow insurance I agreed to haul to my destination. I had to hook the trailer up myself and needed to ask for tail light/turn signal inspection. I was told "its new" and "its good" to avoid doing an inspection. There was an obvious language barrier while I was at this location, but both the manager and I were able to complete the transaction. This issue was not the problem, but rather the method at which things were done here. I would have appreciated if the truck and the trailer could have been combined on the same contract. I received 15 emails and 16 text messages for this one day experience.

This location needed my assistance to find my reservation on their laptop. Once I agreed to bring an enclosed trailer to my destination, this location was not prepared for my scheduled pick up time. I was charged for the optional travel insurance on the truck but was not offered this option. I was also charged rental fee and insurance for the FREE trailer that I agreed to tow to my location. I had to hook up the trailer to hitch and insist on a pre trip inspection to be sure the trailer’s brake lights and turn signals were operational. There was an obvious language barrier between Felix P. And myself, we were both committed completing this transaction, but this is not the reason for my terrible experience using U-haul. All of the other issues created problems that needed to be resolved on my behalf wasting a lot of my time. This one experience with U-haul led to 15 emails and 16 text messages. A

ERICKSON GTruck front hub fell off when we arrived in south carolina at our hotel. Uhaul had to tow to our home after we closed , and then tow away to get repaired.
