I made a reservation for a truck for 12 hours on 3/29 via the U-Haul website on 3/28. Within a few hours of making my reservation, a stranger went to this location and picked up the U-Haul truck, a day early. The employee stated he checked his ID, it did not match my reservation, but he still allowed the driver to leave with the truck for over 4 hours, under my information/reservation. This stranger was given my full name, address, phone number, & email on paperwork during this pick up. The staff was not helpful and stated “just dispute the charge with your bank”. No, I would like to trust that my reservation and personal information will not be given away due to carelessness. Anything could have happened to that truck while in MY name, and this place would have no idea who was actually driving it. I will never be back.
