First of I rented a trailer from a location and when I get thare to pick it up they gave it to some one else regardless of my reservation then it takes almost an our to find another one and when they do finly I had to dr an our out of my way to pick it up from some one that didn't speak English ....Josh P.

I was quoted a coat for a little over $900 for a trailer to move our things. A 6x12. We turned it in with no damage and no issues. I woke up this morning to a $2000 charge on my card. A charge I didn't authorize and as soon as it's no longer pending, I'll be disputing as a fraudulent transaction. I used UHaul for a one way move with an 8x5 trailer from one state to another in Dec 2020 and didn't have a problem. I was charged a $20 extra fee which was fine because they were closed and I couldn't use the app to check in plus I didn't drop it off in the same location ID picked it up at. Had they only charged my card the additional amount to complete the $900 quote, there wouldn't have been an issue but to charge me an additional $2000, I'm disputing the entire amount and they'll get nothing. This is fraud and UHaul has a long history of poor business practice according to lengthy list of complaints on the BBB website.Emilio M.
The truck only had 3/4 of a tank of gas not full as we were told when we picked it up. Blankets all over the place unfolded and all over back if truck. And I was originally scheduled for a location closer to my selling home and it was changed morning of pickup adding more miles to the trip.Randall S.

This location was great. HOWEVER, it was not where I made my reservation originally. The place I was supposed to pick up was closed at a time their hours said they are open, and I had to change my plans. The delay made me late for an engagement, and was not good business. I don't know how much control you have over your vendors, but this place should not be one. Brothers was great, New Generation Auto Sales should not be a vendorJohn Z.

Uhaul smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The gas was less than half full. Owner was in a separate location and the transaction had to happen over the phone. I also believe I was over chargedHope S.

The wiring for the lights were damaged and it took over 2 hours to get it ready to use, I could not get it back by the appointed because of this and asked if I could return at first AM, they charged me an extra day, very distressing!! So much for the $50 guarantee that equipment would be ready in time...!Keith W.

Received call from U-Haul regional manager which was very helpful and much appreciated. Returned trailer to designated location before business opened so no assistance available. Not only did we get the wrong size truck because according to them the smaller one was not available which is the one I reserved online. So upon my arrival I had no choice but to take the larger truck and pay the larger price I didn't need a truck that size. But I did in fact need the truck that day. So instead of the $54 that I was quoted online of having to pay instead I paid almost $100 because I had to take the larger truck. The whole point of getting the box truck was because it was bad weather that day and I didn't want my boxes and items to get wet. In fact the truck leaks and my boxes got wet and so did my items things that I had to throw away like Electronics so technically my $54 truck that I rented online ended up costing me over $300 considering I had to replace items and had to take the larger truck because I had no choice. When I ask this man why the truck was so expensive since it was his problem that is a smaller truck that I asked for was in quotes broke down. I was told that it was that truck or none. So no I do not recommend this U-Haul dealer no I do not recommend this U-Haul dealers trucks and I urge everyone to have a back-up plan in case you were forced to take a more expensive truck because the one you ordered is broke down.cynthia B.

This was a little shack selling cigarettes and beer in the ghetto. The lady didn't speak a lick of English. There were personal cars parked in the spots for uhaul. She "tried" to tell me to back the 8 ft wide trailer into a spot about 3 ft wide, she went back in side and offered no help with backing or disconnect.Mark B.
I had to do everything. I asked the agent, who was only available by phone to extend my return date to 2 May, he said no problem. After I picked up the trailer and saw the electronic contract, I called him back and asked him to fix it with the requested return date of 2 May. He did nothing.
