I had to drive 10 miles out of my way extra to pick up from this location. This was not the location that my original rental was done. I also was given a much larger truck that was made my move much more difficult.I was not happy with the size of the truck or the extra distance.

My prepaid reservation was not any where near the location it was suppose to be. I had to go almost 70 miles out of the way to pick my truck up and no one from uhaul called me to tell me that, i only found out because i by chance called the location in gray i was suppose to pick up at and they told me they didnt have my truck and had no idea where it was..i got confirmation emails saying my truck would be in gray ga even though it was not...i got an extra 100 miles and an extra day for my "inconvience" but since i drove 70 miles away i actually ended up with only 30 miles over what i needed...my drive was less than 300 miles away and the cost ended up being almost 700.00 which is extreamly high to me...the truck was dirty on the inside and smelled like stale cigars...it didn not leave me with much faith that the maintenance on the truck was done..the truck was a newer truck but ran like crap... moving is stressful enough with out being ripped off with outraguous cost and run arounds...i hope i never have to use uhaul again..the best part was the freaking drop off..

It was 100 degrees when I picked up the truck. It took 45+minutes to pick it up because the computer kept charging me for a daily rental and charging mileage. It was a one-way rental and the reservation was made 4 months in advance. I was being charged 3X what my rental was. I had to call customer service so they could have someone call the location to help the person there. Then the air stop working the minute we got on the highway. Secondly, half way through the trip from Georgia to Northern Virginia the truck broke down while getting gas in North Carolina. Thirdly, it took 35+ minutes for roadside assistance to answer. Fourthly, it took another 60 minutes from that for someone to get to us. Fifth, we had to have a separate towing company called while we waited the 60 minutes to have the truck towed from the pump because the truck was blocking others from getting in, out & to the pumps. Sixth, once the mechanic arrived he needed a part so this was another 1 1/2 hours to get it fixed. Our 10 hour trip turned into 14 hours. We were afraid to stop the engine again, but we needed more gas. Seventh, after all this, UHaul only wants to reimburse me $250 of the $654 I paid just for the truck, not including the trailer. This is unacceptable. The whole experience was a nightmare. I will never rent from UHaul again and I caution anyone else against renting from them. They do not keep up their equipment and who knows where you will be stranded.

This location is a local spot. I was told by another store ( to drop off) that I was unable to drop the truck off because the pickup spot was local.
