This was a second location that I was sent to, which was out of the way for me, and something I did not plan for. I wasted a LOT of time trying to get the truck I reserved at the original 8th street Citgo location, but the employee never showed up for work, and the location was locked, with no keys left. After calling U-Haul, and getting transferred a couple times, even the customer service rep was surprised that I had no way to get the keys for the reserved truck. The customer service rep was helpful, and found a different location with the truck size that I needed. The truck tires looked to be down to the wear indicators, and should probably be looked at. This was a very poor experience.

JAMES JThe interior of the truck was absolutely filthy. It looked like there was no attempt to at least give it a basic clean/wipe it down. There were old french fries on the ground inside of the cab and gunk everywhere near the radio/cupholders. Please take some time to at least wipe down and do a basic clean before a reservation.
Matthew MIt took almost an hour waiting at the gas station to get the U-Haul cause the attendant didn’t know what they were doing. So I had to keep the U-Haul an extra day because the place I needed to go closed at 430. The U-Haul tank was not full so I had to pay for the gas to fill it all the way up when I got back. I told this to the attendant and they didn’t seem to care. The surgery I got to complete on the condition of the U-Haul came as I was driving it. When I tried to recomplete the survey when I was done it was not available. First time customers and not happy!

Jordan NWhen I brought the truck back, the person behind the checkout kept saying they never worked the uhual rental process. She had to text somone to call her and help, and even then, it was clear she wasn't sure what she was going. She was friendly, but stressed. This would be a good place to do some training.

Jason AThe truck we rented wasnt there so we had to take a much smaller truck with no ramp. It made moving very difficult BUT the lady that took care of us was very kind and gave us a mileage discount to help make up for it. Worked out.

Joe SI did the reservation for 24 hours but ended up not needing it for the entire time. I ended up dropping it off early and the lady who assisted me was very rude and acted like I was a burden for dropping off the equipment. She was not friendly at all it didn't even check the vehicle over when she came in because she said that she didn't feel like it. I will be going elsewhere to rent my U-Hauls from now on.
Joseph BUhauled had my order messed up got calls from two different people and different places for pick up Then got a call and stated we did not pick up truck. The truck was return the same day we pick it up.
Beth KEmployee very helpful. Truck was clean and ok. Fortunately had just enough blankets to provide what I had reserved. But they did not have the hand truck I had reserved. What's the point of making a reservation weeks in advance if there's no effort made to have it available on the date needed.

Dianne HWhen we showed up for our pick up, the first truck they gave us had a broken window wiper and they expected us to use that truck for a cross state move. When they finally agreed to switch the truck, the second truck that they gave us had a truck engine light on. She then told us that she would just return the truck and do a new rental for another truck because she didn't know how to switch the truck again. Because of this, we are now being double charged for a truck that we never took. She then told us she had a supervisor that would issue us a full refund for the truck that we didn't take and we have now gotten a receipt that they only refunded us for $64 instead of the full $240 + that I was charged!!!!!!!!!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!!!!! And on top of all of this she was very rude and kept talking about how horrible U-Haul is and she hates working for them. Great to hear staff that works for your company talking about you this way. Made me feel wonderful about what i was getting involved with. Ive used U-haul several times before and never had issues like this before!

Michael BThe person helping me did not know how to do it. She was very sweet, but it took very long to check it out and back in. The uhaul was frozen shut, I had to leave it running for a while to get the ice to melt off of the windshield which wasted gas and putting gas in a uhaul is very pricey. The uhaul was also in a lot of snow so getting into it was very hard. The customer service was great but they should have more training on renting the uhauls.

Hunter HWhen picking up we were told that Buds doesn't usually process transactions until 9am. The lady was very nice and accommodated our 7:30am pick up time that was listed on the website. Please either change the time on the website or confirm pick up times with Buds.

Christie KMy appointment was changed from another location to Bud’s. I was unable to pick up the truck with TruckShare and when I did finally get the keys, none of the dollies or furniture blankets were in the truck. I had to go back to get the dollies, which I was made to feel was an inconvenience for them, and they didn’t have any blankets. I was still charged for them and tried disputing the charge and I haven’t heard anything back yet. Next time I move I will be using any company other than U-Haul.

James HIt is an absolute joke trying to get in touch with UHAUL about an overcharge on my credit card!!!! The location said they cannot do anything about the overcharge because it is all done through Uhaul. Tried to call 800 number, always a 20+ minute wait. The third time I called it I waited 25 minutes and no one ever picked up. So, I tried live chat Three times as well, no one wanted to chat there either!!! I have decided maybe they will talk to me when my credit card company reverses the entire charge. Maybe they will contact me to discuss my $70.00 overcharge!!!
SCOTT FWas told that I could drop at "any U-Haul" location in Wis. Rapids. The person at this location said that they did not want to take the vehicle, citing that "corporate would not allow them". They were helpful in giving me the number of another location in town - called them - they could not take it either as they were literally out of places to park vehicles, but told me that the place I was at "has to take it" (they did seem to have room to park it in back - yes, there were better than 18 pieces of U-Haul trailer/trucks there). I went back in and told the person this and left it there. The person at this business wasn't happy about it. I was put off a little by attitude by the business regarding returning the truck, but I think U-Haul corporate needs to get their act together regarding stuff like this and not penalize the business that is renting U-Haul's product. Not pleased overall, but they have a semi monopoly on this kind of stuff. If I have to move, yeah, I will probably rent from U-Haul again (begrudgingly).
PATRICK SPeople there were regular gas station clerks and had no idea what they were doing and provided no help whatsoever. The truck i rented was filthy, cracks in the windshield, and the cabin was loud- like an airport runway, but for 1400 miles.
