Arrived on a Saturday and the location was closed. It took a bit of time to coordinate the drop off with the app and had to call support who assisted me. I dropped off a day early.

I rented a 26' truck. Someone had replaced the ramp with a short ramp from a smaller truck. This made the angle of the ramp illegal. If anyone had gotten hurt loading the truck, it would have been an easy lawsuit. The location was fine. I blame the U-haul company for the danger That you put my family and I in. I am going to review you and warn people of your lack of safety protection.

We rented two u-hauls a 26 ft truck and a 12 ft cargo box both were returned clean the trucks gas tank was filled and both were returned two days early. I am expecting a refund on both as I paid up front for the two extra days on both but did not need.

There was no contract left in truck. I was told on phone that it had 5/8 gas in tank when it actually had a half of tank of gas. This is after a run around for a week of changing location of availability on uhauls behave. So I'm not sure if the mileage can be checked to determine actual gas usage per mile since I was charged an extra 20$something extra. I put the same amount of gas in as what was there to begin with. Uhaul supposedly refunded 50$ for the inconvenience of original pick up place and added 30 extra miles for out of the way pick up..but not sure that is all following through either. I've rented several uhauls for years and never have had such an issue from start to finish.

We did the online reservation & 24/7 pick up service which would have been easier had we known they had to contact 2 alternative contacts. We picked up the vehicle at almost midnight & my family was asleep had to text people i knew who was up to answer if uhaul calls. That was not a pleasant experience.
