The truck was clean, but the front end had mechanical issues that required me to call a service truck. They determined it wasn’t roadworthy for my 800-mile trip. This caused a full-day delay, because by the time the service technician arrived, all nearby locations were closed and I couldn’t get a replacement truck until the next day.

Truck cab and the back were both dirty, and the front end of the truck has issues returned it early didn't even try and do a second trip. Average rating because I’ve never used U-Haul before and have nothing to compare it too.
Caleb WBurnouts went above and beyond to help me. When I arrived they had no idea about my rental, thank god they had a truck. The owner was great. He made phone calls, got on the computer and got me all taken care of. It took about 45 min but the gentleman didn't skip a beat, he just provided excellent customer service and made sure I was happy and got the truck I reserved. So kudos and thank you to him and Burnouts. It could have been a disaster but because of him it was successful. I just wish I knew his name.
Roseann SMy situation required after hours return of the trailer I rented. The online return procedure was straight forward aside from providing photographs of the rented equipment. Each time I attempted to click on the apps feature to open my phone's camera and upload a photo, nothing happened. Incidentally, the same thing occurred during the pre-rental prior to picking up the trailer. I was unable to upload photos of my driver license. Aside from this, the rental experience was excellent. Each staff member I spoke with via phone, or in person was courteous and helpful.
