Mobile check in and out was lengthy! Could have been our phone though.
Daniel TI adhered to the terms of my contract. I returned the truck a day early 5/10, to the location was was supposed to return it to, with more gas than when I took possession of it, and I followed the instructions provided in the app to return it. I put the keys in the drop box. 2 days later, I received an email saying I had been charged for and extra day and extra coverage for the extra day. No one verified when the truck was returned. They just took it upon themselves to take money from my account. If this location in unable, or unwilling, to verify the date/time of drop off when they are not open, they should not provide this location as a drop off option if the truck is due back when they are not open. I called U-Haul and was told someone would reach out to me and she could see I initiated the return process on the app on 5/10 at 6:59pm. I hears from someone today, and he acted like it is now my responsibility to prove I dropped it off on time, or in this case, early. How about, if U-Haul is going to break the terms of the contract, and steal money from me, U-Haul needs to prove I brought the truck back late. I expect to be refunded immediately.

CECIL Hfirst of all we picked up my U-Haul and immediately the first thing that I see is dirty footprints on the window we overlook that go onto my destination load up u haul to take the first load as my friend is following behind. Called to advise me that we have no tail lights therefore the ability to finish what I needed to do wasn’t to be. The lady that made my reservation was very nice and absolutely easy to deal with the gentleman where I dropped off was good as well however where I picked it up from should have checked to make sure that the truck was working in a safe manner..

SAMUEL GThe app is sooooo slow and doesn’t work well at all. During pick up and drop off I had to take pics several times over and over and it seemed like it wasn’t uploading. When I got out of the app and looked again it worked but it took like 15-20 mins. ANNOYING!!!

JOEL DKind, friendly customer service immediately upon arriving to the office. Agent was extremely helpful and got me in and out quickly. Truck did the job and I was pleased with the entire U-Haul experience.

ROBERT HThe only problem was when I reserved the truck it was very difficult to get the phone number on file changed to my number. My son's number was in the system from me paying for a truck rental but him picking it up when he moved home from college. I changed it no less than 4 times but my son kept getting confirmation text. It was finally changed the day of pick by talking personally with U-Haul tech. The other problem was getting the lock to work when picking up the key to get the truck. We watched the video over and over and still couldn't get it to work. I had to get my son up to place we rented it to finally get it to work. This cost me two hours of moving time, I recommend an easier way to do that or get new locks. Other than that the truck, the service was fantastic.

KEVIN MI tried to make my reservation for 8:00am and the app stated they didn't open until 9. I got there at 9. No one was there. I finally called UHaul customer service at 9:15 and was told that I had to use the app to pick up the truck. The app kept spinning and and stalling. 35 minutes later I was able to leave. If the hours are listed as 9-1, why did no one ever show up?? Why did I have to call customer service to find out that I had to do everything myself? Not happy. Not everyone can use the app. The drop off was a better experience with the app.

Beverly JImprove your app and customer service. The app is cumbersome and takes too long to go through, considering most of my information is already loaded into my account. Also, the phone call verification is completed by a person who is very short and not explaining themselves very well on the phone call.

Jose RI will NEVER BE using U- HAUL EVER AGAIN got double charged because they failed to document the milage prior to my rental then charged me for the extra mileage. They told me to make sure the fuel level was at the same when I dropped it off as it was when I picked it up. I left more fuel in the tank then when I got it and they charged me for a full tank like WTF!!!

Cary S | Overall ExperienceWe were relocated to this location, which was not our first choice. The truck was returned on empty gas, and did not crank when we first tried. We had to go to the gas station, purchase a gas can and go twice to get two gallons to enable us to get to the gas station to fill up the tank. We were not provided with advance emails/messages regarding drop off or return. Multiple calls to customer service were required. Worst service experience of my life. Would only use again out of necessity, not choice.

The middle-aged woman at the site had the tongue of the tow dolly lifted up and almost hooked up before I could get out of the cab to help her, and the newer tow dollies with brakes can be kind of heavy. That's dedication. Also, after the hookup she helped me check that the tow-dolly lights worked.
