Was worse experience I have had to rent equipment. I rented from canal st but could not drop off there and had to go back and forth between them and turnbull bay drop off to figure out who would take it. Was not a good experience

these satellite offices are not equipped to handle rental returns

The problem was with the initial reservation that was changed from Daytona Beach Florida to New Smyrna Beach Florida, 14 miles out of the way when there was many rentals of the same size available at the UHaul on International speedway and Mary Mc Cloud Bethune, don’t understand this and I need an immediate answer, this caused an undue hardship on myself and family.

I had to wait and wait while the cashier took care of other patrons who came to the store, a small community grocery with one clerk. The truck was not cleaned out inside or out. He did not want to come outside to inspect with me. For some reason he made a 24 hour rental into the next day, charging me for two days, initially. It looked as though he had charged me for a larger truck. When I questioned on this, he did not know how to change or even look up. I called the 800 number for information. He could not print the contract, said I had to download from my e-mail. Quite inefficient. I did however have a truck at a facility close to home and did not have to travel 30 miles as I did when I last rented. Not 100% satisfied, and I have moved a lot in the past 15 years, using U Haul. This was an unfortunate experience.

The truck was clean but they did not have the packing blankets or appliance hand truck I ordered. Also could not print my contract or receipt.

Waited and waited at rental office. Then waited again to check truck in. Charged us another day because we were an hour late. Must have been more than an hour at office. Was that fair?

Truck was not stocked with hand truck or blankets. The guy there told me to bring them out and put them in truck. I paid for 12 blankets and only got 6. I had to wait over an hour for the guy to do paperwork while I had movers waiting at my house.

There were homeless people all over the place. The merchant was nice but his computer was so slow I waited 20 mins to get my truck

Took to long for rental out and return. I understand the gas station sense of convenience, but should use that same sense of customer service for uhaul as well

The map given to me was confusing and I had to turn around 3 times trying to find the place. I finally found the phone number to the location and when I spoke to the employee she told me she didn't need a UHAUL truck. She then told me to take it to the other Jennings location, which I also could not find. There were no UHAUL signs or business name signs at this location. After driving for miles trying to find the place and being instructed to bring the truck somewhere else, which I could not find, I finally found this location and brought the truck there. After being rude on the phone and sending me somewhere else, the employee then charged me 15 dollars for going over the allotted mileage. I do not feel responsible for going over because the only reason I exceeded the allowed mileage is because there were no business signs indicating UHAUL rental and the lady told me to bring the truck somewhere else. I had filled the gas tank back to where it was supposed to be but she tried to charge me extra for that too. I also do not feel responsible for this either, because of the negligence and rude attitude of this business. I am very disappointed with the UHAUL company in general for wasting my time and then charging me extra for it. I don't think that this business should be able to tell me that they don't need a UHAUL when I was lead to believe that I could return the truck at any of the 3 locations listed on the paper given to me. I will not use UHAUL again unless I absolutely have to!

Felt very uncomfortable with the employees. They knew well enough in advance to take the tow dolly off the truck and didn't take it off. The truck had beenat the rental place for a few days. I had an appointment to pick the truck up at 9:00. I was told that they didn't take those dollys off and that I'd haveto wait. They also didn't know how long it wouldtake someone to get there. If you want to improve service at this location, they'd need to get their stuff together and have it ready for their customers.

Great customer service, however it was raining and the trailer leaked. I was moving furniture, but luckily none of it stayed in the trailer long enough to cause water damage.
