Not only was the return date changed on me, but I returned the equipment on time to an empty location outside of operating hours and was charged for doing so, so I got double screwed thank you very much. That's why this location gets a crap review. What would you expect.Howard L.

Had a 0900 reservation, arrived about 0930 and no one was there. Walked around building hollering out but no response. Went home and called parent Co. They finally got someone but it was after 1000 before I had the trailer. Then the rep kept arguing with me that she was there. Worst customer service I have had in years.robert M.

This whole experience was horrible. The U-Haul places were great and the workers were even better. HOWEVER, U-Haul needs to let their customers know about these hidden fees. These 2-day, no refund, one-way trips are a scam! Then, you have to fill the truck back up to where it was when you got it. My trip was fro Hertford, NC to Raleigh, NC. I had a 15' truck rental for one day $306 after them taxes of course. Then turned around and put $55 in the tank. Yet, I can't get a refund for my unused days? I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone. Better off paying somebody. I will never use U-Haul again.Dasjah M.

The location was 54 miles from my home and I had to find someone to go with me to go get the equipment. U-Haul customer service and scheduling would not compensate for the money spent on gas to go that far, they only added 50 miles to my contract, but the location refunded me some money so that I could turn around and get insurance on all of the equipment. I had to email corporate in order to get any kind of resolution and they compensated me and apologized for the inconvenience, unlike U-Haul's customer service or scheduling. Fuel level changed after driver snd attendant looked at truck. It was 3/4 tank and changed to 1/2 tank. A text message followed ; however my paper work wasn't updated and I was required to return it with 3/4 tank. I recommend updating paper when these changes are made.Steven C.
There isn't much you can do when coming from out of state to rent a truck. You can only trust UHaul will do there job. You have no control over that. UHaul gets zero stars!!!tom D.

They charged me $21.35 because I returned the truck the night before it was due in for them to check in the truck without us there. I don't see how it cost anymore. My experience was great up until I returned the truck and tried to use the 24/7 app. It cost me an extra $ 20 because of the faulty software. The location owner was good; the uhaul .com site was slow and impossible to navigate. Spent 30 min trying then called 1-800-go uhaul and and the estimated hold time was 55 min. So I hung up dropped the key in the slot. Bottom line was the $ 20 charged to me was unfair and caused by the software flaws.RICHARD T.

I was charged an extra day for dropping off on a holiday when no one was there. The app on the phone would not upload a picture of the inside of the trailer. The day of drop off was the day on the contract. Not pleased.Richard E.

This location was HORRIBLE!! They overcharged me 247.00 for renting a car puller!!! They told me to call customer service about my overcharges.. I called customer service and they told me that the store was responsible for the charges and couldn't understand why they charged me for car insurance when that was not what we rented.. I called the store back and the lady there was speaking over me!! I told her that I was going to charge them with fraudâ€¦. SO I DID!!! Neverâ€¦.ever again!!! GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!!! Update your system. I make reservations online and it turns out that the location was closed. I did the self check out and when I returned the trailer I was told that shouldn't have taken it. Then they charged me an extra $40 because they were closed. I will not be using uhaul again.Jonathan H.

I confirmed my location for pickup but when I got there the location was closed due to the holiday. Called Uhaul and was sent to another location 15 miles back and was told the keys would be in the truck. The keys were not in the truck and I spent almost an hour and a half on the phone and was told that I was not set up for 24/7 pickup and had to create an account and do all the steps to pick get the keys out of the lock box. When i questioned the rep about how to do this she told me to watch the video then call her back and basically hung up on me. 2 hours later i had the keys. I was very disappointed in the phone customer service i received especially when they hung up on me.William L.
