This might have been my worst UHaul experience ever! I arrived to find out the only individual who could rent me the truck I reserved was not there but would "be right back in 5 minutes". I was already running late for an appointment and he was definitely not back in 5 minutes. 15-20 minutes later, he arrived back and despite my rental being done online a day prior, he said he didn't know about it. Then he proceeded to accomplish the rental contract on his personal cell phone. The phone was very slow and he kept saying it was due to poor WIFI. Then the contract was essentially illegible based on the size of the font on his phone and I didn't feel comfortable handling his phone for an extended period anyway because he was getting personal text notifications while I was trying to read and sign the contract. In my reservation I had requested a package of furniture blankets and he told me they didn't carry them. I had also requested a furniture dolly and he said they had it, but then brought me a regular hand truck which I refused since I already had one. I think I was still charged for the hand truck but I didn't have time to try to sort it out as I was very late at this point. Upon turn-in, I was then hit with a fee for additional mileage that was also unexpected. I feel the entire rental experience was below UHaul's normal standards and I should receive some type of discount for the unsatisfactory and delayed service when I picked up the truck. As a minimum, I should receive a refund for the dolly that I didn't take or use.

Jackie BI will NEVER rent from U-Haul again‼ Made a reservation online two days before pickup, only to be sent to a location SIX miles from the location I rented from, less than a mile from my home, NOT a U-Haul dealer, but a detail shop that rents trailers on the side. They don't even have a computer online, but had to complete the details on a cell phone with a LOUSY connection that added at least thirty minutes to my getting to leave with it. I specified that I planned to return the unit to the place I was supposed to have picked it up from and, after supposedly checking, they said that would be okay. When I arrived this afternoon, the staff there informed me that I would have to take it back where I got it, or be charged an additional fee, turning a three day, $14.95 rental into a $75 charge, more than half again the rental fee, even with tax. I disconnected it in front of my house, so I would not have to deal with turning it around in my back yard, and I will be DELIGHTED if someone steals it overnight! I am filing a complaint with the BBB and Chamber of Commerce, and sending a letter of complaint to the home office. 🤬 🖕

JACOB MThere was little to no room for maneuvering with a 26 foot truck with an auto trans trailer attached. The road was very busy as well and it took awhile for me to have to detach the auto trans trailer and then turn the truck around and go half a block down to park the truck per the owners guidance.
Nathaniel ELocation was poor. It looked like a 1 room house that was being lived in. It was very dark inside with the only light sources being a huge TV playing some foreign language action film and a strip of LED lights along the ceiling constantly changing colors. The smell was also harsh inside with there being an incense burning right in front of the point of sale desk. Also the state of the truck was in poor condition. The fan belts sounds terrible and the windshield wipers need replacing immediately. Would not recommend.

Katrina PMy pickup location got changed at the last minute and had to be for a significantly later time because the hours of C&T didn't open until 9:30am. The owner seemed to be high when he arrived and was really confused on how to check us and another customer in. The location was only 5 minutes from a uhaul store - it would be wise to just have trucks at your uhaul store and regulate the guest experience more.
