The people that operate this location are great. Professional and helpful. The van on the other hand was dangerous to be driving. I did report it to them when I returned it and they said they would take it out of service and have it sent in for repairs.

This was my third U-Haul reservation pickup in as many weeks. It was my first one at this location, as I used the WP, Hwy 80 location prior to this. It was a subpar experience. I had to wait almost an hour in the heat, with friends waiting for me at my storage unit to help load up my truck, while waiting to get my truck. The lady there went to lunch and to run errands knowing I was going to be there to pick it up. Her husband couldn't help me with getting it moved forward without her there. I called the 1 800 number while waiting for her to return to see if the could do anything to help me. When I wasn't holding for someone to help me, I was being transferred to three separate people who couldn't help me. One time I was sent to a Canadian call center and then to the accounting dept. before the lady FINALLY showed back up. Somehow they (the lady in the office? someone she spoke to at U-Haul, online prior to me picking it up?) had switched how I picked it up from using the mobile app to having to do it in person. While the app has its downside, it's so much better to use than what I went through in this instance. Also, if you're going to have dogs in there barking and jumping to get out to me, don't yell at me to not touch the dogs. Trust me lady, I saw your signs about the dogs, and I don't WANT to touch your dogs. When your husband doesn't close the gate and they get out and start sniffing me, don't lecture me on which one is gonna bite me if I lean down to touch them. Again, I don't care to touch the dogs. I just want my truck that I've been waiting 50 minutes for. I did not have this experience with the WP location on 80. Canton pick up was a horrible experience.

after hours but after hours drop off was well marked and all went well!

Should have been a easy move. Being in a area where UHaul stores close on Saturday by noon an are closed on Sunday. Picking truck up went Saturday night went smoothly. Sunday morning had no dollys. Only had help Sunday. Closed Store 70 miles We had to make many calls scramble to to find one ourselves. Also had to double the mileage on the truck.

Originally the equipment was booked on-line and scheduled for pick-up at a local town. I arrive to pick-up the trailer but they have no trailer available, location was a joke, no help. I called the reservation center and this is where the real joke started. she told me on-line booking (I even had a reservation number) was not really confirmed or reserved. I was charged twice as much to pick up a totally different type of trailer in a town twice as far away. Service is crap, on-line booking a TOTAL JOKE. I'll do anything but use this company in the future.....

I live in wills point had to pay for a extra 40 miles to get the truck and return it to canton so 40 bucks in mile fees that I didnt need to have.

There was a slight issue with the internet connection and the person helping me was unsure of how to trouble shoot or work around the issue in a timely fashion. There was no idea what to do when something didn't go as planned and information was not relayed properly. This particular location needs more training on situations like this to make the process easier for the customer.

I have sales tax exemption for agriculture purposes. I rented a trailer to transport equipment to my farm. I explained that sales taxes should not be charged. The staff person wasn't sure how to handle the situation because it was the first time someone had brought it up. She called her supervisor and it was explained to him. He said that Uhaul does not recognize sales tax exemption for agriculture and I would have to pay it. It was only $7-8 so I paid it. I think Uhaul should consider recognizing sales tax exemption for agriculture. There is a form provided by the State of Texas that is given to vendors to serve as a record for their bookkeeping. Truck would drive at an angle. Something wrong with drivetrain. Brake/ABS lights would come on and off while I driving. Tires needed to be balanced.

The check in process was extremely slow. All info that was added to my online reservation (license #, plate #, drop off place and time and other materials rented) was not available to the rental location per our check in lady. What's the point of adding the info if it all must be re entered. Took 45 minutes to check in because there was one other renter before us that had to go through the same process.

This location was very clean. Looked practically brand new. Wasn't too sure about where to park the trailer as i didn't see any clear signage other than for RV parking. Only suggestion I have is to maybe make the app able to accept uploaded photos. Took shots of the interior and trailer location prior to opening the app and going through the return process only to discover that it only allowed live pics to be taken and saved. I had to drive back to the site and retake pics so I could complete the return. My fault for not taking my time.
