While driving the back latch totally let go causing the truck door to open. I was driving behind my husband so we were able to pull over timely and my husband used duck tape and rope to get the door to stay down. We would like money off the use of this truck. Our trip home from Syracuse to Buffalo was extended by 45 minutes. Very scary while this happened. Could have caused a major accident on the Thruway and hurt us both and others. PAUL BThe van i reserved was over reserved as I was told 1 hr before I had to be where I needed to be. I only rented the van to move tables for my grandsons graduation. Then the girl that was at the counter was very disrespectful about the whole situation. As she was sending me to a different location for a truck not a van. She could t even tell me where I was going . Another customer told me. When I got there it was a store that was empty and no one was there. I called and got a voice mail. Finally the person called me back. Needless to say this was this was the worst experience I ever had with uhaul and I will never use them again. Yall do better.
