Pickup time was 10am. We showed up at 10:30 and the place was closed. No phone numbers available. Luckily business next door has contact info for the owner and called him. Showed up 30 minutes later. We returned the car at 4:45pm. We received a text the following morning from UHaul if we still have the vehicle. We called the scheduling department. By 3:30pm, we decided to drive to this Uhaul location to find our the status of the truck. Office was closed.... We did spot the truck on the premise. Took photos for our own record. By the time we arrive back at our office, we finally received our invoice. I rent from UHaul regularly. This was by far the worst experience. I would never use that independent contractor again.

Surprised and concerned I was charged for 3 full days of rental and insurance when only had it 48 hours

They didn't have my dollies as ordered in the truck. If there was an issue with the dollies I would have liked to know ahead of time. I had to go to another uphaul location to rent my dollies. Not only did it cost me time it cost me money.

There was no place for me to drop my key when I was done and the location was supposed to be open when I returned the truck between 10-11am on January 4.

Added dolly to my rental. Never got it. Had to do move with out it making it longer than needed to be.

The after hours pick up was difficult, I wasted over an hour trying to get the truck. There were roaches in the truck. I'm highly disappointed. The equipment I reserved was not available which made my move more difficult.

The taillight and turn signal were out on the left side. Scary at night

The self checkin was not user friendly and it took me an hour to figure it all out the lock box where the key was etc. the app glitched and bypassed the instructions causing me to call and not being able to get a customer service for a long time. Once I connected with customer service I had opened the lock box and found the key

I ordered half dozen of bedding…and 3 out of 6 were covered with debris when I arrived for pick up. My truck was barely at 1/4 filled. A few miles after my departure, the low fuel light came on. I was charged a $30 fee, since it was returned under 1/4 tank. Which I understand that fee, but truck was barely at that level to begin with. However, what was really a corrupt charge was a $62 fee incurred to fill up the truck with 10 gallons! Noway it took 10 gallons to fill that truck to 1/4 tank, like it was initially! That fee right there was a total fraud.

If you want to borrow your cousins friend's uhaul, this is the place for you. No frills, no extras, no security. The truck worked. The ramp worked. It came with barely 1/4 tank of gas. I returned it with more. The lock to secure the back was clearly cut in order to be removed prior and was never replaced. "But I can use my own if I want" cool.. additionally I requested two furniture dollies and blankets and was informed that "the guy before (me) took everything".. cool. Zero frills. Personable enough. Questionably safe. I had no trouble with the truck. The 15' was plenty. But it was not

The guys at the 305 W Torrance Blvd site in Carson, CA are the real deal. Helpful, patient, and focused on my needs. . . I'm not sure when I'll need truck again, but I assure you that when I do I'll be visiting this site.
