Alice was the absolute best, she made everything quick, easy, & the overall experience more enjoyable... Carolina Mini Storage U-Haul equipment was more than well maintained, the customer service was immaculate, and I am very grateful as a person not just a customer for the way my wife and I were treated from start to finish.... I WILL recommend this location every single time to anyone that needs a rental truck or a home to store their belongings... 100/10 experience across the board! Thank you again so very much Alice!!

Alice was so kind and friendly. SO much better than trying to do all this returning online!!!!!!!!! I watched that video and thought " stuff that". I'll just go to the place and TALK TO THE HUMAN! This online stuff is just ridiculous these days.
KATHRYN CWhen I entered the office, I was harshly scolded by the employee, Brenda, who was currently with a customer. I had no idea that the only public entrance to the facility opened up right into someone's office and that there was no lobby. Brenda also spoke very rudely to my wife, who was also with me to pick up the vehicle, accusing her of trying to start trouble (which was not accurate). The day we rented the U-Haul truck, it was a very hot day – 95°F with humidity making it feel like 103°F – so, of course, we were extremely dismayed to find that the truck's A/C didn't work properly. It only pumped out warm air the entire time we drove it. So, after unloading an entire storage unit in this blistering heat, we drove uncomfortably to our next destination, never getting a break from the blistering heat while in the truck. Upon returning the truck to the facility, which was closed at the time, we were "greeted" by a different employee (who didn't give her name) who yelled at us incessantly about how badly (in her opinion) we had parked the vehicle, even accusing us of damaging the truck (which was also not true). I don't care how desperate I am, I will never again rent a U-Haul truck from this location. Not only were both employees we encountered extremely rude and nasty to me and my wife, but they also did not ensure that the vehicle we rented was properly maintained by having working A/C on an extremely hot day. This facility is not a worthy representation of most U-Haul rental places that I have used in the past. However, if this is the kind of facility that U-Haul is proud to have representing them and their products, then I will be hesitant to ever rent from U-Haul again.

Dashelle HThe U-Haul apt did not work at all. Even with the help of the worker on location, I could not get it to work. Either scrap the apt or fix it! The lady was very nice and helpful. Too bad I had to wait a half hour for her to return from the post office. Once again, she was extremely nice and helpful.

Antonio VThe truck itself was dirty, smelly, and not cleaned. There was cigarette ash in the door and cup holders, the steering wheel was sticky, and the back of the truck had dirt and trash in it. There was also no windshield fluid. The process of mobile check in took so long (40 minutes to go through the process and be “approved”), I missed my pick up window for the items I needed the truck for. The chat agent said he would not approve a paper license (mine was a temporary one since moving to a new address) but would take an expired or invalid one? How is that okay at all? If I didn’t have my old one on hand I would have been screwed. I ended up being so and spent over 250$ to basically rent a truck to drive around in because I wasn’t able to pick up my items.

Walter HI used the app. Although I’ve used it several times it still takes 20-30 minutes to go through everything. I thought using the app would be more efficient but it isn’t. Whenever Covid is over, unless the process of the app is faster, I will discontinue using it.

Marvis CThe on-line check-in tool didn't work, I was on hold for over 10 minutes waiting on a rep who told me she would note my account. I was then charges $21.40 for an after hours service fee. I am disputing that charge. I paid for two days, only drove 9 miles, and to be charged for calling a 1 800 number when your required so isn't working, well, that is rediculous. Plus, the truck was back 18 hours early. The location was great, but the non-working ap, long hold time, and erroneous charge all made it a poor experience.

Brandon RI rented a U-Haul on Saturday to move my home from one house to another I rent a dolly and the 19.95 Uhaul. My total came out to $47 and some change. I purchase 15 miles that was already taken out with my purchase I returned the U-Haul at 4:15 p.m. at 5:29 they charge my car again for another $20. I call today because they was closed Monday for Memorial Day. Tuesday(today) came I called and she told me I drove 31 miles now that's a lie I only moved 2 1/2 miles away we only took three loads there and back i purchase 15 miles. And she going tell me there is nothing she can do. I want my $20 back.
