After being told I could drop off trailer at nearest location in North Carolina I had to go to 3 different places because nobody would take it finally at last place I told them I was leaving it there no matter what even though they didn’t want it

The Rental was dropped off at this location on 8/26/2019. The original drop off location was selected by my daughter (Sharenee Atkinson), because the pick up representative dealt with my daughter and not me, the paying customer. The pick up representative was not familiar with none of the drop off Durham, NC, and allowed my daughter to select one. The original location selected was not available when we wanted to drop off. The location your rental was dropped off did not checked in the rental and close out properly. We made two trips to the drop off location. The first trip, we were told they didnt check it in yet.. 4-5 jours later when I was concerned about not receiving my check out email, we made the second trip to the drop off location. The u-haul manager was rude and wanted us to remove your 15 foot rental off his property. We did not because it had been at that location for almost 24 hours. I then called your customer service number to have the dispute resolved and noted in the records. After my call, the drop iff location processed the close out...

Let customers know that if they don’t arrive within one hour of the reservation they will lose the reservation; can hardly believe you gave a/my reserved one-way reservation to someone because I didn’t pickup by 9am and didn’t call me; that’s just crazy.

When trying to turn in my trailer, the desk employee told me that he had “already told uhaul that he can’t take anymore trailers”, and that I had to take the trailer to another location. I explained that I had made the reservation, including pickup and drop off locations a month ago, that I’d had the trailer for a week, and when I picked up the trailer, I again confirmed my drop off location, and in that time no attempt was made to contact me to set up another drop off location. I explained that I didn’t have time to go to another location, and that I would be leaving the trailer at his location, since that’s the address that is on my signed *contract*. He told me to “do whatever I thought I had to”, and that he “wouldn’t check me in”. I had to use the online drop-off tool to check myself in, making sure that I used plenty of photo documentation to ensure there was evidence of my proper drop off. Once I got back on the road (late), I called the 800-number for uhaul to make sure that they made a note on my contract, and that my drop-off was properly logged. Overall, I was very upset that the staff at this location was having a problem with uhaul, and decided to make HIS problem MY problem. I’ll definitely use uhaul again in the future, but I certainly hope uhaul takes action against the management in charge of this location.

They were scrambling to get the truck ready as I stood there and waited. It took forever to get my stuff. They also did not have the equipment I reserved and I was forced to go to another Uhaul location to pick up the dollies. I was switched to this pickup location the day before pickup and was forced to accommodate my schedule since they closed earlier. Then I was forced to go to the original pickup location to get the missing dollys. Uhaul should be able to coordinate having all my reserved equipment in one location.

Dropped off truck at night of Sunday 8-24 and still haven't received detailed receipt only an email charging me for gas that was already put in the truck!!!

parking lot is small, was hard to park/return the large 26 foot truck but staff very kind, helpful.

It took a while to get a truck out the door, but they were pleasent and the 20' truck was a good one. It needs to have wiper blades changed.

They made me feel like there was prejudiced or racist and you know once I let him know that I kind of feel like you know you will live as president you know because I was like I called them sir and you know I was really just want to get this over with and what they just act like they had some mad mug whenever I realized as I was sup black person I guess I don't know but they got right in did they job or course but I think they really don't like black people or African Americans in other words I don't know I'm not for sure but I won't go back

Clerk at location was extremely slow, though not rude. It wasn't clear what took so long, but every small action seemed to take at least 5 minutes, and what should've been an extremely routine truck pickup took 45 minutes.

I parked the uhaul myself... the employee said the person that checks in uhaul a is out to lunch... we verberally went over some details and he said have a good day... we agreed the trucks where good he.... i don't know why i would have been charged extra

Van's fuel was not top'ed off and I had to pay for 10gal of fuel when I went only 70 miles. The guy at the store told me he would adjust my bill but never did. Will never use them again.

I was not informed that my reserved pickup location had changed. Once we got there, we waited another hour because there was only one employee who handled UHaul, and he didn't get there until 11, even though we had a 10:30 reservation.

The amount to rent for 6 hours was to high. Would not recommend renting from UHaul. $253.00 to high for 6 hours. Will not use again.

The two guys I dealt with were rude and one constantly on the phone. I returned the truck with the gas needle in the exact same spot but was told it was not and told I had to either go put more gas in it or pay $10 for the less than a gallon I used, I only travels 9 miles total with the truck. Will never use this location again.

The truck has a roof leak in the attic. We have damage to art and large prints; plus a flat screen television.

Make sure that the correct trucks are checked in when returned; additionally, ensure that they are checked in WHEN they are returned. I was billed extra for gas and for an additional day because the person to whom I returned the keys did not complete the paperwork. Instead, it was left for the manager next day who confused the rental with another and charged me for gas.... combined with the fact that I wasn't able to pick up the truck that I had actually reserved, this was a horrendous rental experience.

They were late for my pickup; when I called and ask the man about a fee I was charged,cause I thought it was a late fee for returning, he claimed I did not return when I said did , he pretty much called me a liar.... will not return to this location for u-haul pickup

Owner showed up after 1PM which was my pickup time. Cargo van I reserved through U Haul corporate was not available. Owner ended up switching me to a 10' truck. The ignition switch in the truck kept sticking when trying to start the vehicle. Operation seemed very disorganized. There is very little parking area for your personal vehicle since it is a car lot. Location is not in the best part of Durham.

there was an accident on the way back to the location of you u Haul and it made me 45 minutes late and now I'm getting charged 20 extra dollars because I went past 24 hours I don't think it's fair I will not rent another U Haul again. as well the mileage reader is wrong because I was getting followed in my car and at about hi a half mile the reader count another mile from the miles are running too fast

Never received a phone call the day before re where/when to pick up the truck. We contacted U-Haul and was given the location and a 12:00 time. Upon arrival, I waited as the location did not open until 1 PM.

The equipment (12x6) storage trailer lookef old and worn down with scratches and dents all over. So I would not say that it was clean and well maintained, but it worked for what we needed.

I had a great experience with this location/owner but if you need to improve something for next customer, fix the Call Center customer service reps! My wife called there and got the ruddest employee ever... he yelled at her, talked over her and eventually even hung up on her! From now on we will call directly to this location and NEVER use the Call Center again! Thanks to Sky for great service!
