LAUREL WThe passenger side mirror was not able to be adjusted well to be usable for the drive and I was frightened and super cautious the entire 150 miles I had to drive. If the truck had not already been loaded and an appointment for dropping it off, I would have gotten a truck elsewhere.
DARRIENE FI highly recommend you forewarn customer that a passport is needed when checking out a truck. It was very inconvenient not having that information beforehand and unnerving to have to jump through one more hoop.
Kathleen BThese trucks, when loaded do not get 10 mpg. The one I had ran anywhere from 3.5 to 6.8. On flat land I was able to get 8.2 to 10. Mpg. I drove over 2000 miles, up hill & downhill and would say I spent over 1800. On gas. Very expensive trip. The truck was very comfortable to drive.

Christopher PThe people at Cathlamet Puget Island Storage are great to work with and went out of their way to make renting the vehicle possible. The experience when I went to pick up the vehicle using the phone app was absolutely terrible and made me not want to rent from U Haul again. It was below freezing when I picked it up, and the process took about 45 minutes. I have rented from U Haul on multiple occasions, including several times last spring, yet I was required to provide multiple references and copies of documents when I was standing outside in the cold. This information should be requested when the rental agreement is entered, not when picking up the vehicle. I picked up the vehicle on a Saturday/holiday, so I was unable to provide my employer as a reference, I did not have my passport with me, and I only had a copy of my receipt, which was not acceptable. I had to provide names and phone numbers for people to be contacted for reference. This is ridiculous to put a return customer through such a process. If I have other options in the future, I will certainly use them rather than using U Haul.

But when your web pre check and post check is required or I get charge $20, I will never use U-Haul again, if I have another choice. Penske, Hertz and Enterprise never charge me for check out and return check in. Your app has to have a predict connection or it fails. I had to restart the app12 times and it created 3 different reservation because of it. Then customer service noted I was wearing a hats for asked for another picture. But the app had no way of moving beyond the request page. No one checked you business processes or tested customer workflows. You need to ask for your contractors money back or fire your app team for not following best practices. It was a very frustrating experience and I’m an expert in these types of apps and related C2B processes. Wonderful services from my local site. Terrible support from U-HAUL CS Call Center.

Amee CI've used a few storage facilities over the years on military moves. Iris made this one the best. She was available if I needed her. She always answered. They did a great job of maintaining the facility. They are constantly updating to keep it safe and convenient. When she knew one unit wasn't enough, and the second one we got wasn't big enough she quickly got us settled into a bigger one once available. And would check on us periodically. I appreciated her so much on this last move. I would highly recommend this facility. Great people! Only downside to it is Uhaul.com doesn't connect very well to it. Had problems checking a truck in and out, twice. But that's not the storage facilities problem. Iris was very helpful when that would happen.

Stephanie TThe Uhaul app crashed my phone twice, spent over an hour trying to finish the process on my android phone to get the key to the truck. Would have been much simpler to walk up to a counter and deal with a real person. But we did get the key finally and the truck was great.
