JOSHUA TGreat service! Pricing was terrible all most three times of any other locations. Do to circumstances and timing I had to go with this option. The dealer had me call corporate to get a break and there was a non interest from the operator he said he that had his hands tied. Im a regular but that carries no value here,
THOMAS DEveryone we met at U Haul couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Moving our daughter back home to Philadelphia ourselves was a big deal, and we greatly appreciate the staff at U Haul who made the mover a little easier.

THOMAS JWhen I arrived at the location I stood at the counter for a time frame. I then had to locate the gentleman outside with a tow truck. The gentleman that was running this place was older and very rude to me and was making indirect comments about renting a trailer and me being a female. The Gentleman informed me that you are not able to rent a trailer online and that " you can't rent a trailer online." He then gave me a tough time due to him not figuring out how to use his credit card machine, and processing my payment. After we figured out the payment issue he advised me the trailer was up around back near the other storage units. The gentleman then asked me if I felt comfortable driving up there to hitch up the trailer due to the "size" of my truck. I own a 3500 Duramax Dually Quad cab footbed truck, and having been hauling trailers since I was 16 years old. When we arrived at the trailer I was supposed to be renting the same older gentleman was giving me an incredibly hard time about hitching up the trailer, and that "I can just stay in the truck". After he hitched it up to my truck he asked me again "Are you sure you can drive this?" I had to be blunt with him and inform him it was not my first trailer. When I returned the trailer the next day he advised me to just leave it in the middle of the driveway since "I did not know how to back it up" At this point I was so angry as well as upset at this gentleman for his comments directed towards me being a female and not being able to drive a truck and trailer I parked the trailer in a spot than left. I will NEVER EVER return to this LOCATION. I DID NOT APPRECIATE HOW I WAS TREATED DUE TO MY GENDER

KE CWe had a last-minute rental and the folks working there guided us through what we needed and couldn't have been better. The truck was clean and the advice solid. Process was also incredibly simple.
JAMES SMike was fantastic. He went the extra mile for me--literally. But I was not happy that I had to travel all the way to Catskill to get my tow dolly when I was renting my truck from Chatham, 35 minutes away (and I chose Chatham because it is 10 minutes from the storage unit I was moving out of--which makes it 10 min farther from the Catskill location than the place I rented the truck from). I think UHaul needs to do a much better job of making sure that if a person is renting a truck and a tow dolly, they are both available from the same location. Someone needs to bring the dolly to the customer's location by the date of their rental. Or it needs to be available from a much closer location. Telling a customer they have to drive an extra hour round-trip to get their equipment is not reasonable. For this reason, I won't do my move this way again.

PAUL NThe people there were very nice unfortunately I had to drive 25 extra miles just to this location instead of the location that is a mile and a half away from me so it was a total of an extra 50 mi I have to use that they changed my truck at the last minute then I had some guy from Albany he said his name was observed he was a very flamboyant person on the phone very rude and disrespectful The whole situation I had to deal with him three different times and he's always has an attitude of course he doesn't give me his real name but he told me it was an extra 5 to 10 mi away and turned it to 25 plus a toll never again use U-Haul and observe is a horrible person of course that's not his real name but his flamboyant attitude I could tell exactly who he is if I ever want to the store on top of everything I had to use tolls to get the U-Haul and now I'm getting charged an extra $9 on top of the 50 plus miles extra I had to do because of this instead of having my truck a mile and a half away where I thought I was had the reservation but observe obviously changed it because he can't accommodate anything but I guess this is the quality of people you get at a place like this by the way the man at the place I had to rent the truck was very nice was very patient and did not have an attitude at all The only bedside to this place it was 25 mi away from where I was supposed to pick it up Plus I have to pay tolls to get there and get back so in the end it cost me an extra about 70 to $80 plus a rude flamboyant man that said his name was observe
