The owner wasn't there at the appointed time and expected us to call him to come when we got there which involved waiting longer. Didn't seem to be familiar with our paperwork or that we'd already paid even though we'd had that conversation on the phone. There was a lack of professionalism...perhaps a difficult circumstance going on in the person's life...but not good business practices.Cheryl D.

The trailer lights wouldn't come on because a fuse was blown that wasn't checked at a different uhaul facility. They took the time to get everything working right before sending me off. Very much appreciated the effort!JENNIFER S.
The business description was incorrect, saying it was a satellite company, rather it appears to be a used-car dealership. The truck was clean, but the cab smelled like butthole, cigarettes, and cheap aftershave. The truck was loud, and sounded like it was going to fall apart. It would shake when going 55mph, making it feel unsafe to go highway speeds even when empty. Furthermore, to improve on the customer experience, it would have been nice to know the requirements for the verification process ahead of time. Because we were unaware of the requirements, it took us an additional 30 minutes to pick up the rental truck.Andrew S.

Uhaul in general gets an F for not communicating with each other I ordered a truck ONLINE for Bloomer P/U on Aug 10 for Aug 27, 2021-Sept 7, use Reservation was accepted - then they gave my truck away Said closest was in Chippewa Falls for the 15 ft truck that I wanted ( also said I'd take a 10 ft, instead) That truck was taken from me, too! But was not Notified, of such! Then day of Aug 26, when I called Chippewa- the day before I was to leave for a 1000 mile round trip for 10-11 days, I am informed that the closest available truck is 2 hrs 1/2 away in Wi Rapids!!!! This is irresponsible and unforgivable! Moving carries with it extreme stress as it is, with multiple deadlines. One should be able to at least trust that a truck ordered that far in advance is set in stone. The only shining star and savior in this whole mess was your Carly.! Thank you very much.LINDA M.
This location was very good. The problem was that this was not the location our reservation was for. The day before pick up our reservation was changed from Stanley St in Stevens Point, WI to Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurant in Stevens Point with self pick up. When we arrived at 8:30am for our pick up, the website told us we could not do self pick up and we wouldn't be able to get keys until 1:30. This was unacceptable as we had to be in St Paul, MN by 2pm! I called the phone # and a very helpful gentleman found us a truck at this location. Unfortunately this added an extra hour of driving.David E.

Rented a 4 x 8 enclosed trailer. There is hardly any tongue weight empty which makes a lot of noise in vehicle from tongue bouncing up and down when empty. Put 200 pounds in front of trailer to prevent it from bouncing. Also had a small water leak in right front corner of trailer.DAN D.

They werent even there! I am an older man and was going to have to try and lift the trailer off the hitch myself. Two local fellows drove by and helped do that for me, thank God. UHaul made me go to this place It was NOT the place I originally selected just for these reasons. On top of it all, I was charged an extra $42 when I dropped it. Very poor service!Stephen B.
Trailer door would not close after opening. I have damaged furniture from storm. Very stressful trip since I was worried of losing load or getting load stolen on the trip. Called Uhaul for a refund or credit and costumer service was very rude and would not help me . Never again would I rent from uhaul.Andres L.

The only thing that wasn't clean was the outside of the truck. It was filthy. It didn't bother us, but just something to note. But it is winter in Wisconsin, so vehicles get dirty quickly & easily. The service was exceptional tho!Darren B.

I was there at 11am and there was nobody there despite it being the open hours. I called the number on the door and no one answered it returned my call. I had a neighbor waiting to drive me home. that location should NEVER be a authorized uhaul. Owner not there ever and don't care.Dominick G.

On arriving for drop off there was no one available before the closing time the place was already closed I dropped the truck off and put keys in the overnight drop box the next day I get a call from Uhaul asking where their truck is, apparently it was not in the system as to who has it or where it was going, very unprofessional. Then to find out we were charged almost $2000 more than originally quoted.Joshua D.

Inside of the truck was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Pepper packets and food crumbs in the cup holders, what looked like spilt soda on the dash. Back of the truck had grass clippings and small pieces of dirtClayton A.

I returned UHaul Truck with EXACT Level of Gasit had when I picked up . I was charged $6.80. I sent the drop off Location a picture of Gas Level when I picked up the Truck. I am awaiting and credit back on my Credit Card. Lets see what happens now. Not Cool This is the Second time I dropped off at this location both times Nobody around- Almost like it's a part time Job- You have to call and sometimes nobody answers.William O.
When making reservation, reserved pickup in Marshfield- rec'd call the day before saying had to go over to Wisconsin Rapids to pick up. Was provided wrong address. Upon obtaining correct address clerk wasn't even at the site- was out getting food. All this running around delayed our move by 4 hours. And we were charged the extra mileage over the 131 miles to go from Wisconsin Rapids- Marshfield- Woodruff. We would have been under the 131 miles if we could have picked up in Marshfield. We were also told at pickup we wouldn't be charged for the miles to get from Wisconsin Rapids to Marshfield- but in the end we were chargedGarner R.

It's not the location that was the issue it was uhaul overall. We used there remote feature for picking up the truck and it was nothing but a nightmare. We ended up having to call and and we waited a total of 30 minutes just to be helped. The truck was an extremely rough ride constantly bouncing off the seat even when the road was in fine condition.Tabitha E.

We ordered a 15 ft truck for moving a week and a half before the move date, we get there and they don't have any truck for us and all they said " oh there was a mistake" we had to go to another location and settle for a smaller truck and make more trips,doubling our mileage charges or travel 20 miles to get a larger truck. I feel there should be compensation for the inconvenience your mistake caused.sue K.

We were not notified that our pickup location changed and it was a 40 mile round-trip to the new location. We could have been more prepared if we would have been notified. We only found out when we reached the location we were told to pick up. When we reached this new location the door was locked and we had to wait for employees to arrive.Patrick H.
