First off we picked up from a location that was also a gas station and we've had a bad experience previously when getting gas. Didn't realize it was the same location till we came to get it. The man at the counter was friendly, but didn't speak very good English and I had to literally spell out every word including â€œLASâ€ for Las Vegas. He told me my total which was higher than the quote that was given to me. I also asked him if I returned it early, is there a way to get a portion of what I was being charged to which he told me yes. I wasn't aware that the quote given to me by a rep on the phone was the locked in price no matter how long it took to get to our destination. I was made aware of this and much to my surprise upon returning the vehicle with a clean cab and half tank of gas as I was asked to do. The rep just gave me the quote and I didn't really understand that what she was giving me was going to be the charge no matter what. Also wasn't made aware of the extra charge for renting and all that jazz. The overall vehicle performance was awesome. No problems whatsoever. But I will never be using uhaul again for any of my moving needs.CRAIG L.
Clerk at the Shell Station had no clue how to do his job and had to call the Regional Manager. He dialed a number and just handed me the phone. I had pre-booked online, but essentially had to go through the process all over again by phone. Because the phone was connected to the credit card machine, Shell customers could not make purchases, so I had to wait for the Manager to call me back on my cell phone to complete the process. The Manager was courteous and apologetic and gave me a discount, but the whole ordeal took a very long time. Semi-nightmare!ROBERT S.
The clerk was exceptionally rude, no other way to describe him. The truck was not clean, smelled really bad like cigarettes and the cab of the truck smelled like someone was living in it and smoking other than cigarettes. He was to lazy to go out and document the damage to the truck by previous use and there was quite a bit of minor damage. The store was filthy and it did not seem like a safe place to be near or in. All of this was after Uhaul gave my reserved truck to someone else even though I showed up on time. Then I had to drive almost 40 miles one way out of the way to pick another one up. I was charged for picking up the vehicle at a further distance which included extra mileage. They were supposed to give extra mileage and never did, I was charged. I have been renting from Uhaul for 30 years and have only ever had some minor issues with their service, can't blame this on the pandemic!! I would never use Uhaul services again after this!!Ginette T.

The person working did not speak English and ended up not entering my additional information when I arrived, so it appeared I had not rented a uhaul, when in fact I did. When I returned the uhaul, I was in the system as not showing up to rent the truck.Cheryl R.

He was rude over charged me and didn't listen there was no ramp at it was fithyAutumn S.
I did everything online, so should have just walked in and got keys and paperwork. He couldn't figure out how to print the contract, and charged my card prior to me even leaving. What should have been about 5 minutes, turned into a half an hour or more. Then when I returned the truck, the person refused to take the keys (later found out he didn't speak English). Very unorganized and the cost was outrageous.Cheryl R.
Sent me to an area were I was suppose to pick up my u haul...ended up sending me to a closed area, sent me 30minutes away from the area I was suppose to pick up, and did not have a ramp on u haul when i specified i needed a ramp. The website to complain of damages to the uhaul would not let me take pictures of front bumper. And had 2 items inside the uhaul like gloves and pen in the compartment that wasnt mine.Paul C.

Cashier took a long time getting me out of there. He seemed confused by the mileage and fuel aspects of the process.James K.
The vehicle cab was dirty inside, had not been cleaned prior to pick up. There was just over 1/4 of a tank of fuel. We took pictures prior to our departure. These are time stamped photos in chronological order which we also took to verify any prior damage to the vehicle. We did not realize the fuel level did not match the contact. The store representative refused to do a walk around or to leave his store counter because he could not leave his cash register as he was the sole employee on duty. When returning the vehicle we showed proof of the fuel level and he disagreed and argued that we owed more fuel. Being that he owns this gas station it's very suspect that he is scamming people to buy more fuelcharli V.

I dropped it off. I had to ask for a receipt. Didn't want any confusion later. He hadn't gotten my name or anything. After I pressed for a receipt, he was quick to do it. The gentleman who was there didn't know anything about doing the Uhaul things so needed to call the main office to do the information over the phone.. My feeling is if the person who does know about it isn't there others should know how to. I felt really bad for him.. The main office was very wonderful and courteous so we got done quickly..ruth F.

The young man who took care of us at the return of the truck had such limited English and I am not sure what language he was speaking. But we asked that he use a different card for the payment than the one that was used to pick up the truck. He totally did not get the request. So my friend's card was charged. We are happy to reimbursed him. But it could have been difficult if his cash flow was tight.ROBERT M.

It is a busy gas station. Between customers, the attendant showed me the truck and started it. I had to get stuff out of my car so I closed the door because it was raining. I was locked out and had to pay a lock smith $80.00 to unlock the truck. There are signs inside the truck not to do that but I didn't look inside the truck, I only touched the door to close it. In the future I will go to a uhaul place and not a gas Station if i ever have to do this againColleen S.
