I would strongly encourage U-Haul to reconsider its policy regarding fuel refunds when a vehicle is returned with more fuel than the level at which it was received. In my case, I added approximately $100 in additional fuel, bringing the fuel level well above the original level. I understand the importance of returning the vehicle with the agreed-upon fuel level; however, when a customer has put significantly more fuel into the vehicle than required, receiving no credit or refund for the excess feels unfair. I believe U-Haul should consider providing a prorated fuel credit or refund when a vehicle is returned with substantially more fuel than the original level. This would be a more reasonable and customer-friendly approach and would prevent customers from effectively paying for fuel they are unable to use. I hope U-Haul will review this policy, as I believe it could be improved to better reflect fairness and customer satisfaction.

Location was perfectly fine. However one small factor makes a HUGE difference...the address when you must begin the U-Haul sign in process is NOT the same location where the truck actually is. You must start the sign in at the address noted, then drive around the block 5min to a different location to get the truck. And this is after you get the app to actually work for signing in. Mine would not work. I ended up on the phone for 25min with an agent where I ultimately had to uninstall the app and do everything a second time via a web browser. Very frustrating and ate into our schedule time.
