We had a 15-ft truck scheduled for pick-up at 10 AM and arrived early, but no one was there. After calling both the location and corporate several times beginning at 10:15 AM, we were told the employee was on the way, but he didn’t show up until 10:45 AM with an extremely unprofessional excuse. We didn’t drive off the lot until after 11am, and on top of that, there were no furniture or appliance dollies even though we added it to our reservation, the truck was dirty and had recent spills in the cup holder, and the gas tank was empty. This delay threw off our entire day and kept our movers waiting. It was EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT for us. Moving is stressful as it is, but this made the day even worse. This location is unreliable. Do not use them!!!
Austin R1. Put "Fed Ex" for the location in your directions, NOT "Certify Express Shipping". (It cannot be seen from the street) 2. Actually have a retail store. An empty shell of a store with a few Uhaul boxes does not constitute a store. 3. Use a computer when dealing in contracts for your clients. Doing everything on your phone is not very professional. 4. Have knowledge in your job. Clerk didn't know anything about the contracts. 5. I drove 68 miles, put 6.5 gallons of gas in the tank before returning and the clerk automatically added gas to my charges. 6. Because clerk knew nothing, he got his boss on speaker phone to ramble endlessly about the automatic gas charges. 7. Clerk couldn't print anything because he was doing all of his work on his phone. Van was clean and well maintained but the overall experience was poor.
JEFFREY SI could not find the hours of operation on the door. The business was closed and I was told I had to have returned by 7:00 PM Eastern. I had to call U-Haul to get specific instructions to find the key drop box. Turns out it was on the back side of the building and fairly confident those granular instructions were not communicated to me in advance. That made returning a bit frustrating. There was a U-Haul sign in the window, but nothing that said the key drop box is in the back of the building.
William AThis location got the job done and that was about it. The person working the location had very little knowledge of U-haul and constantly told us to "refer to the app". We had not rented our trailer using the app so this was more difficult than it needed to be. While the employee was friendly, he didn't know how to handle a simple transaction of returning the vehicle.
