It was Chamblees that i have a problem with the actual U-Haul customer service was horrendous.....i rented a truck closer to my house 3 weeks in advance online and i needed it for a week and 3 days before i picked it up to move my entire house and livelihood scheduling called me and said they dont have the avalibilty to rent me a truck anywhere for 7days after battling for 15min they moved it around and found a 26' for 4 days at chamblees in rockdale as i hung up the phone the very rude "regional manager" mumbled "your not getting my truck that long" which is absolutely ridiculous so i bit my tounge so i wouldnt have further problems and if the availability isnt there for these trucks why the hell would you make more than "4" days an option, so i picked it up and had to rush to get stuff done then today i was sheduled to return the truck at 4:45pm chamblees called me and explained that the truck was booked for 1pm and he needed it back luckily i was done and he explained he didnt know why uhaul did that because they can see the sheduling when the do it but low and behold they still managed to screw it up and make me more stressed than i already was with uprooting my entire life and unpacking it somewhere else i dont know what schduling department takes care of central illinois but they absolutely suck and i will never use uhaul ever again and will steer everyone i can away from them.....now i know why they were cheaper than everyone else you get what you pay forWesley T.

I rented a trailer from this location. When I got there the trailer was blocked in by another truck. It took 35 mins for someone to come out and move it because they didn't have the key. Waste of my time. The tires on the trailer were also dry rotted. Not exactly what you want to be towing a car with. Would recommend going to another other location over this onejamelin J.

The service at this location was good. Steve was great and even headed off a potential problem due to the UHaul booking process. I appreciate the customer service at this location. I was not very happy however with the uhaul booking process. I tried to book at a local Bolingbrook location and was told the had no trucks for my date. They said I could reserve a 27' but would not know where I had to pick it up until the night before. I didn't like this but was in a bind so I said OK. That day I was called and told I could only have a 20' truck and would have to drive to a location that was 25 miles away to get it. And I was told I'd be billed for those miles. Then Steve from Rockdale Called me the night before after noticing that I was scheduled to pick up at 7am. He told me his location is not open at 7am. He made arrangements for me to be able to get the truck at that time. Throughout the process I was told the per mile charge was .79, then .99, then finally 1.19. I complained about this to Steve at Rockdale and he Said he would give me the .99 rate. I rented the truck on one day from 7am to 6pm. When I received my bill from UHaul I was charged for two days of rental and two days of insurance. I contacted Steve and he said he would look into it. Later on he called again and advised the extra charges had been removed. Decent truck and Steve from Rockdale was great with communication. The rest of my dealings left me thinking that UHaul is very scatterbrained in the way the do business. I wouldn't say this was a BAD experience but I've had much better from UHaul. ThanksDennis C.

With a tornado hitting the town the night before, I was still able to pick up the trailer and it all worked out. I did not receive a contract because of electrical lines being down but was able to still pick up the trailer and be on our way. Steve was very helpful and pleasant to work with!Neville H.

Congratulations UHAUL has won he Asshat of the Month Award! The Dirty, sticky, smelly interior of this truck made for pleasant times. That was sarcasm. I was charged an extra day for being three hours late during a pandemic? Quite frankly, Fuck you. Now that was not sarcasm. Really? Really! There were old blankets left in the truck and it was not even swept. The interior WAS NEVER CLEANED OR DISINFECTED to satisfy ANY state or federal mandate! During a pandemic? Really? I as an individual have been doing my very best during these times. You as a business are not. I will spread the love by posting this in many places.....cut and paste. Sincerely- EricEric G.

The person I dealt with at this location was very professional. However, I will NEVER use Uhaul again, nor will I refer anyone to Uhaul. I reserved a truck online right near me to avoid paying the mileage. A few days later Uhaul called to say I'd have to pick the truck up at another location. I called that location the morning of my move to confirm everything. When I got there they told me they didn't have a truck for me. It took me forever to get ahold of someone at Uhaul. Uhaul said they found me another truck in the next town over. When I got there, the man also told me they didn't have a truck for me. It took me almost 2 hours to get a truck. It added stress to an already stressful day. Plus, I had to pay the mileage. Definitely not worth renting a truck from Uhaul.Gail M.

40 S. Midland was great. Although this was the 3rd UHaul location I had to go to to pick up the truck. Alot of my personal time was wasted in general with UHaul. I gave UHaul a 2 week notice that I needed a truck. I started in Manhattan, IL, was switched to New Lenox, IL, and ended up in Joliet, IL. When I live in Manhattan, IL.
