This trailer was an absolute nightmare. Upon getting it back to my home to start packing the trailer roll door would fly up and get stuck and was horrible when trying to get it to come back down. Upon getting to my location in a different state, the roll door only wanted to go up three quarters of the way up and would not budge what so ever. Had to call uhual and have them send someone out. Who only temporarily fixed the issue. Because upon using the trailer and having it full the second time, the door flew up with it completely loaded while going down the highway. The door stuck and would not come back down. Absolutely a nightmare of a trailer with the roll door.

ALMA MVery friendly and quick service from rental location. The 800 U-Haul number not as much. More knowledgeable people on local geography and rental locations may have gotten me closer to my move but overall a good experience.

TODD BYou have a water leak in 2 units where water is in the hallway. The manager says they have called the people who have items in the Units but they will not respond. So they do nothing other than soak up the water coming into the hall. I moved my items because you are going to have black mold in those units and the mold is going to contaminate your whole building and get on other peoples items. I have mold sickness where there was water leaking from a building I was in. You are ruining your building by not cutting the locks off and removing the items from the unit and fixing the problem. I paid for months rent and now I’ve had to had remove my items from your business because I could not afford to lose what little I had left from the last time my things were in a wet building. I Had to rent elsewhere and pay for the month that I had already paid for at your place. More money on top of money I didn’t have. I would never recommend your business nor do business again with this company!!!!
CYNTHIA RMake sure the additional equipment rented is in the truck when it is time to pick. I rented d dolly and blankets and nothing was available in the location so last minute I had to figure out what to do since it was a critical equipment to move my stuff

Christine HAmazing customer service! Vehicle itself was outdated, old, interior of the cabin has strong odor and surface feels dirty. I’ll definitely use this location for future truck rental needs and hopefully existing old truck will be upgraded and replaced.

Tangela GThe customer service was great at the site. My experience with the mobile app was awful. The mobile app continued to tell me that I was not at the location, however, I was at the correct location.

Richelle GNo moving equipment was rented; however, the cargo van itself was dirty. A little clean up & cleaning the van itself would have made a huge difference.
Victoria AI had a mobile pickup. I experienced some difficulty with the app during pick up. I scheduled the pickup at 1:00 but for some reason it showed up in the system as 11:01, even though I received a confirmation email of my pick up time at 1 pm. The African American lady at the desk, I did not get her name, was rude when I explained what was going on. She left the site for 2.5 hours during the middle of the day, so I had to wait for her return. Upon return, she seemed very irritated with me and acted as if I was not smart enough to know how to follow prompts through the app. She called gentleman in charge of the site, again did not get his name, so he "could deal with me". Once I spoke to him, everything started moving smoothly. He was super polite and really helpful. He was able to get my rental straightened out and I was on my way. Not sure where the miscommunication or malfunction with the mobile pickup is, but she should not be the one to help customers. She was rube and had no patience. I will use the location again simply because of the location.

Michael WAs you need to refill gas to where the truck was when you picked it up, maybe come up with a better way of more accurate estimate for refill…. I ended up putting way over what was started with. My mistake, U-Haul’s benefit!!
Stuart AHave requested items (dolly) available; have posted or on paper exorbitant charge if “you should inconvenience” the storage customers when returning vehicles after hours- I believe the rep said $500.
Sonia MWhen I made the reservation, I was not informed that this location was not going to be open. I arrived to pick up the truck at 10:00 am and found other customers waiting outside the building as well. Many of them left out of frustration. Thankfully, I spoke with 2 wonderful, helpful customer service agents at the 800 # who walked me through the online pickup process. Again, if this would have been mentioned to me prior to arriving I would have been better prepared. (I did get an email explaining the pick up procedures but it was 20 mins after my 10:00 original pick up time. The process of uploading all of the necessary documents in order to secure the truck via the online pickup caused us to be late starting our day. The online process for picking up and dropping off the truck were convenient, I just think that better up front communication from the store would have made this experience less stressful.

Hazel RThe truck was very dirty, had an inaccurate gas gauge leading to extra charges, the truck overall was in poor working condition. The staff did not tell us they had no appliance dolly (which we reserved in advance) until we had already paid and gone to the truck. Their solution was to tell us to go to another location (we were paying per mile for an in-town rental truck). The staff had us scan our own license and mileage and bring back in the furniture pads to stack up in their display despite doing an in-person counter pick up/drop off and not the self-return on the app.
Wayne PReserving a truck online was easy. Once I got to the location, the big guy behind the counter was not very helpful. Spoke in barely audible voice, didn't make eye contact. Same when I returned the truck later. If you're dealing with the public at least try to communicate and make customers feel that you appreciate their business.

Trevor MI went to drop off the truck early around 1 or so on Friday, a day before the truck had to be back and there was no one in the office. At least have one person in the office to receive the vehicles and interact with customers.

Stephen NBest experience ever with a U-Haul rental. The van drove great. There was leg room. The seat went back. Van smelled O.K. It seemed to be maintained. Air was really cold. Service was good. Only issue was that my pick up location was changed, but it was not that big a deal.
TIMOTHY CPick up was nice and smooth but lady that was there upon returning the truck was very rude and had no people or customer service skills.

I reached submitted my concerns and a representative reached back out to me and although I missed the call he left a message regarding my issue. I am very satisfied with this location and their professional.

I’m glad that there are still businesses that put customers first and this location does just that. I was not expecting such great customer service. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this manager.

Latia RThe first truck (larger) smelled so bad that it was unusable. It smelled like a load of fish had been left in it for days! We had to trade for a smaller truck and make more trips than intended. I was still charged the same rate. I should have gotten a discount for the inconvenience and the size difference.
