My issue is not with this location, but with the Otto, NC location where I made a reservation. U-Haul had no record of my reservation when I went to pick up the truck rental and the person there could not help me obtain a rental even though there were plenty of available trucks. She said this was because I didn't have a reservation. I don't even know what she was doing there if she couldn't write a contract. Don't say you're open for business if you don't have the needed personnel available to run that aspect of your business. When I proceeded to another dealer, Champion Storage, and got a new quote it was about $80 more than the price in the reservation which was lost. U-Haul was not accommodating at all. Their stance was they could not find the reservation so would not honor the price I was quoted. Next time I'm going to Penske for my hauling needs. I'm done with U-Haul after getting no resolution after talking to a handful of representatives.

The issue I had was pickup place was closed so when I got there I had to call U-Haul to be told I had to down load app , take pictures and do a bunch of stuff. Main issue was this place is out in the boonies!!!! So cell phone and internet were very limited. If I would have known before hand I could have done it around civilization and done it in 10-15 minutes instead of an hour. Oh.... I had already gone on line from home and registered, completed, and paid for U-Haul. So That is when I should have been told the pickup place was closed and what I needed to do before I drove 2 hrs to get to the truck.

I have had trouble with Bryant's Antique Mall in Franklin, NC accepting my Uhaul return fot the THIRD time now. This last time this dealership was my designated drop location. This means about a 30 mile round trip to drop my rental in Mountain City.

I was charged $7 for an incorrect deliver location, however, when I tried calling the 855 number listed it would just ring, no one answered. So I just googled Uhaul in Mountain City, GA and returned the truck there. The rep was very helpful, but I do not think I should have been charged the $7, and he agreed with me as well but could not get it waived.

Mainly because of the app checkin. I didn't speak to anyone and no one came out to talk with me. It was about 2pm. Really liked this checkin at this location that is clean and tidy.

My drop off location was originally 3425 Buford hwy, Duluth, ga 30096. When I got there location was closed so I look at note by key drop window. Note said this location doesn't accept any return on trucks. There was 2 LocationS listed on that sheet. 1 was way across highway and other down the street. So I go down The street at 3056 Buford hwy, Duluth, ga 30096. This location says he can't accept 26' trucks. This guy was helpful. So he sends me to storage place at 1800 Sullivan dr, Duluth, ga. This is where I dropped my truck off. This guy was helpful as well. But original location was sketchy. There was a guy in a van sitting at that location, but he saw us pulling in he leaves and parks next door. When we left after reading sign that van goes back into uhaul place. He could have came and said something to me. I assume he belong to that uhaul location. Other thing location puts 2 location that 1 is out of area and other that will not accept this truck. He doesn't list other near location on Sullivan. Very strange. Location down the street said this location does this all the time. Then uhaul needs to take off its website location for return 3425 Buford hwy, Duluth, ga . All of this location review on uhaul.com are bad which I read on the day of drop off. Remove this location completely.

This location is a fraud....I returned the truck I rented with the appropriate amount of fuel......and in return, this location charged me $93.....for fuel.....I have receipts with date and time from a gas station 2 miles from this location.....I have a witness who pumped the fuel.....the truck was returned as agreed upon....I guess these thieves didn't make any money since it was an after hours drop off.....so they chose to steal...... Nothing but a bunch of thieves...... Penske is head and shoulders better than U-Haul.....as a matter of fact.....people would be hard pressed to find another truck rental service worse than U-Haul......

I returned both trucks on Saturday afternoon, December 15, but was charged $72.76 for an extra day. I was told on the 17th that this was a mistake and that I would be credited this amount on my credit card in 3 days. I have still not been reimbursed this amount as of the 26th. In addition, when I added fuel before returning on of my trucks, the fuel gauge was not working on one of my trucks, even after starting the truck and turning it off a number of times. This cost me over $30 in additional fuel cost even though the truck's fuel gauge was not working properly. I have been a faithful customer of UHall for many years and have never had a problem until this rental. I do not feel that these issues were properly resolved and I will consider using another company in the future.

After planning a trip and driving 5 hours to pick up my trailer, the man at the desk asked me “Didn't Uhaul call you?” Apparently the trailer I rented was unavailable. I never received any call, before or after. The only available trailer was smaller than I wanted. I was not happy and very disappointed with Uhaul.
